This always seems like a proper old fashioned department store. Great cafe upstairs, lovely food, reasonable prices. You can take dogs in the shop and into a section of the cafe.

Lovely place great food however men be careful when using the toilet there is a 6 foot window in the toilets and people in the street can see everything 😞

Lovely Cafe upstairs and they even had a separate area for a well behaved dog. Much appreciated when trying to find a bite to eat with the hound in tow 😀

Slightly upmarket family run old fashioned store 3 floors tearoom on second floor. Stairs and lift to all floors gifts on top floor kitchen and homewares on ground with barbour and joules. Friendly staff.

It's a must stop shop if you're into cooking. My mission to have every 'must have' kitchen gadget is amply catered for here and it has yet to let me down in our many years of visiting Porthmadog. Cafe on the first floor serves great food and proper tea (in a pot with china cups!). It is a historic building but there is a customer lift to get you up and down if required. Superb culinary and gift shopping in a beautiful setting.
