Kernow strength & conditioning facility is geared to people who take their fitness training seriously.
The gym has been set up to cater for Powerlifters, Strongmen, Olympic lifters, Athletes of all kinds, and members of the public looking for something more interesting and effective than their normal commercial fitness gym can offer. You won't find rows of treadmills or cross trainers, but what you will find are prowler sleds, tractor tyres, indoor turf, dragging sleds, ropes, chains, bands, power racks, benches, plyo boxes, platforms, pulley systems, kettlebells, lots of chalk, a good selection of strongman equipment, and most importantly lifting records on the wall. All of these can be used by absolute beginners to exercise, all the way through to serious competitive athletes.

We also will be starting a ‘power club’, which will involve a group training daily with structured training programmes, specialized coaching and monthly competition testing.

We also offer effective classes aimed at toning up and weight loss and personal training sessions.

So no matter what your age, sex, strength, or ability, if you have it in you to push yourself and work at 100% , then you are always welcome here. Regardless of your goal, we have the ability to improve your physique and physical performance.

So it has announced that all gyms must close. Obviously this came as a massive shock tonight.
Big thanks to all the supportive messages I’ve received this shows what an amazing community we have all created at this “ play ground for exercise and Lunacy” 😊

It’s the ultimate full body conditioning group session. Some of the equipment we use in this class consists of tractor tyres, sandbags, ropes, sleds and body weight exercises, high intensity interval training and circuits.

HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING MOTIVATED TO HIT THE GYM? WHAT CAN YOU DO TO GET YOURSELF EXCITED TO TRAIN.
We’ve all had days where we didn’t want to even think about training. Sometimes, even if it’s not a struggle getting to the gym, it’s hard not to leave a few reps or a set unfinished once we’re there. On those days when you’re run down, feeling down in the dumps, or just have a bunch of stuff to do, try and pick something that will make you feel great when you walk out of t...he gym. Try to pick an exercise you know you’re good at, or that you really like. Throw yourself an underhand pitch and smack that son of a bitch out of the park.
It may feel at first like this is setting back your results but the truth is that you don’t have to run yourself into the ground all the time.
It’s hard to get motivated when you aren’t giving yourself a pat on the back every once in a while. Training is hard enough as it is.
Try to SET WEEKLY GOALS
This is a mental game, not just a physical one, and there are many ways to play. So mix it up and don’t be afraid to widen your definition of a “Personal Best”
A real easy way to get a new personal best every time you train is to do a exercise you’ve never done before.

Individual tailor made sessions will be provided to suit your personal fitness needs. Single session is £25 but we currently have an offer for 10 sessions at £200
