I've never been one to air political views etc but I've seen a number of videos and posts now calling for light workers (holistic therapists) to stand up for themselves more.
I won't go into my beliefs or opinions but will at least say I'm very disappointed that alternative medicines and remedies are being vilified to some extent. These are scientifically proven to work in a lot of cases against a multitude of illnesses and conditions.
The alternatives we are given are........wait for it....drum roll...
Wash your hands and eat fruit/veg!
I'd like to think we've come further than that in the last century!!!
Yes washing your hands is vitally important but there are so many more things you can do to boost your immune system, improve your respiratory system and protect yourself.
How can anything natural not be good???!!!
Anyway...rant over but I will be posting things that may help you in the coming weeks a little at a time. Interesting facts and things that perhaps you weren't aware of.
Today's fact......
DRINKING 2-3 PINTS OF COLD WATER CAN REDUCE A FEVER BY OVER ONE DEGREE IN TEN MINUTES.
I thought this was worth knowing as Covid 19 causes a high temperature.

I hope everyone is keeping positive but it's very hard I know. So two things...
1) I'm starting up a 'positive thought of the day' text service. Once a day I'll send a random text...it could be a song lyric, a thought provoking quote, a home made poem, a joke...anything! All I need is to know who wants it! It will be once a day and a different time each day to keep it exciting lol!

I'll start....
I've spent more quality time with my kids in the last 2 weeks than I have in the last few months. We've watched movies together, tidied the house and decorated together, made lego, even thrown clay on a mini potters wheel and most importantly, we've laughed a lot. I didn't realise how much I've missed it because I was so busy with work and study but I've loved hanging out with them like we did when they were younger!

As all spas and massage parlours were told to close, looks like I was on the right track last week!
I'm feeling fine and didn't develop either a cough or a fever so my 7 day isolation is likely to have prevented a throat infection from being passed on but still important.
Before I offer my services out to either a supermarket or similar in the coming weeks....

Little update...I'm still isolating! Still got a sore throat and a little bit of a temperature but certainly nothing too severe. I'm pretty sure this isnt the virus but you never can tell. I wouldn't even want to pass on a cold to anyone right now so it was definitely the right decision to close up for now.
Unfortunately my job is not something I can do from home or from a safe distance!

Well I'm posting this from bed! I'm pretty sure I dont have the virus as I've no fever or cough...but I do have a sore throat, headache and earache.
Thing is...I can't even risk passing one simple cold right now as more than 50% of my clients are over 60. I couldn't live with myself passing on anything or putting someone at risk.
Once the antibody test comes out then we will all know for sure if we've had it and therefore if we are safe to carry on.
... Anyone in the health field is no doubt facing the same horrible dilemma as I am..knowing you can help one person but also knowing you could potentially make someone else worse.
So....for the time being I'm gonna have to do the right thing and keep out of the way but hopefully it wont be for long. I'll postpone the mothers day draw but it will still be honoured after we are all back up and running dont worry!
I'm not the only small business owner that is facing this so my heart goes out to everyone in my position but dont lose hope...we will all be back up and running soon.
I'm still here online though so I can answer any questions, post the odd joke and also start offering some advice with disclaimers!!!
I'll be back (that's right...I Arnie'd up!)....and we will all be back to normal soon I'm sure.
Feel free to post some film/Netflix recommendations for me!! Having said that, I plan on completing a few courses I've had lined up and reading lots so I'll come back with more knowledge and more things to offer I hope!!!

Well..science backs this up too! So with that in mind, every day through this panic I will post something to make you smile or laugh. So long as we are smiling...the days are a little easier (little disclaimer about the misspelling...it wasnt me!!!)

As no one has taken the 2pm last minute ...
I will be available from 2 till 4 to give out hand sanitiser. I haven't actually tried condensing any out of the bottles yet but it should be ok!! You just need to bring your own SMALL pot!
You dont need to be a client either! This isn't my product so if you're taking some, I cant accept any liability!
... Equally, I'm available to give advice on oils if anyone wants to know anything. If you are 65 or over ...or under 65 with a medical condition then pop down and I may have time to do a couple of consultations without a therapy and then I can make you an oil. This will be first come first served mind as I can't do too many in the time gap! Again....you don't have to be a client for this just for today.
These are FREE things I'm offering! Don't worry about money or donations.
Tan y hyde is shut on a monday so the doors will be locked but I will loiter around downstairs!! Knock loud if you can't see me!

To the person who took my amethyst cluster crystal from my room.....I'm not angry! I hope you took it because you were drawn to it and felt it did something for you. This is not an accusing post, I will forget all about it in 5 mins lol!!! I wont be looking at people wondering!!!!!!
I didnt even notice to be honest and that's why I'm posting about it. Another client noticed because they wanted to use it!!!
I leave things like crystals out because lots of people find it hel...pful to hold one during a therapy. I purposely choose ones that are healing and powerful but let people pick whatever they want, if they want.
I dont charge for this, I happily supply these things as added extras because I never know what someone will need from me. Granted, you might have booked in for a swedish massage but if you're feeling emotional that day, anxious or pretty much anything else...I like to be able to give a crystal to hold or add a few tuning forks on top of the therapy. I need to have things out on display so I can grab them when needed with minimum fuss or delay!
So I'm not angry, I really hope it's doing you good and I happily give it to you as clearly you had to have it but please remember these items are regularly cleansed and tuned by me. The amethyst you have will be holding energy from my room so heres what you need to do:
Cleanse it under running water, or leave it in sunlight for an hour, or pass it over smoke for 5 minutes
Then hold it close in your hands and try to connect with it. Imagine you can see it in your mind then when you can, give it your intention. It will do whatever you want but it needs to be tuned personally to you. Only you know why you took it but the crystal needs to know too.
I wont stop leaving things out. Trust is highly important to me and I certainly will waste no time wondering where it went. It really doesnt matter! I will say that it was personal as my dad actually bought me that one but I know he will feel the same as I do and wish the person nothing but good things from it.
For future reference though...I am a qualified crystal worker. I can get crystals fairly cheaply plus I can make sure it's the right crystal for you. I regularly buy them in for people and never charge more than they cost me. Most crystals are £5 or less and I often will give one for free if I know its really needed!!!

Sinus sufferer??
Yes? Read on. No?? This might not interest you!!
I have a wonderful little machine called the audiosonic (my website explains exactly what it does!) and although primarily I use it for muscle pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, nerve issues and lots more... it has a smaller attachment used for facial treatments.
... I've used it a fair few times now on people with blocked sinuses or sinus issues and I can only say the results have been pretty awesome including unblocking sensation within as little as 10 minutes and breathing improved within an hour!
I only do 1-2 minutes on each side as the machine is very powerful although it is completely painless I promise! I can't ever justify charging for a few minutes so instead the offer is there to add this on to anything else at any time completely free.
