Extremely helpful letting agent. Helped us find a perfect 6 bedroom house which we managed to get a viewing for on the day we visited them after we had trouble with another agent. Staff are all friendly and couldn’t ask for anything more in a letting agent.

Daylight robbery! They took around £1500 collectively from our deposits for cleaning and various very minor damages around the house (after we'd spent 2-3 days thoroughly cleaning everything!), funny thing is the next lot of students moved in just a couple hours after we moved out so I don't know when this thousand pound cleaning operation happened! About 2 months after moving out, we received letters detailing the amounts deducted and giving us 5 days to object however, funnily enough the date on the letter was over a month previously so either Royal Mail have become even more sluggish... or they backdated it. If you are a student, be aware you have a target on your back in Cardiff and do not go with this agency.

I must say I was very impressed with the service keylet provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for anything better from a letting agency!

I have been with Keylet for over a year now and just rented a new property with them for next year. I was quite unsure what to expect when I first walked into Keylet last year. But I couldn't have been in better hands. Jon found the perfect property for me. I also went to other agents but they promised a lot and kept nothing. Some properties were so bad I couldn't even find the words to describe them if I wanted to. But Jon was very different. He told me all the advantages and disadvantages of a property. He didn't try to talk me into a property I didn't want but rather took my wishes into consideration, such as the location for example. He didn't try to push me above my budget either. I was so happy. Also very useful is the website where any faults or problems within the property can be registered, it can be done 24/7. Any problems I ever endured were sorted out within days. So when I was looking to find a new property with some friends for next year, I knew I wanted to go back to Jon and Keylet. Thank you for making it an easy and enjoyable experience.

Brother was in a rush as he didn't get a spot in accommodation at Cardiff uni, so we took an open tenancy at a keylet property despite reading the bad reviews here. What a mistake. Everything the negative reviews have said are true, the charges are ridiculous and I assume are for the landlord to do some decorating on poor students expense. And if you disagree with the charges, you can only reply through letter...in 2017. Look elsewhere, I'm sure you can find an agency where the average IQ is higher than 80.

Good selection of properties, but awful service. House inspection went well, then decided to add an additional £1100 in charges to a house they described as 'great' in the inspection.
