There's forestry work taking place just south of us on the A487 with diversion signs in place. Please ignore these diversion signs as the A487 road is actually open. Trees are being felled every now and then throughout the day and it is only when trees are felled that the road is closed for 10 minutes intervals but it then reopens for traffic to pass through.

There's forestry work taking place just south of us on the A487 so please allow some extra time for your journey. You can ignore the diversion signs as the A487 is actually open. A tree will be felled every 10 minutes when the A487 road will temporarily close, it will then reopen for traffic to pass through 😊

Escape this heatwave by venturing underground. Our caverns have a cool year round temperature of 8°c no matter what the temperature is aboveground! Don't forget to bring a warm coat 😉

Temperatures are soaring and the RSPCA is urging dog owners not to leave dogs in hot cars. If you need to bring your dog with you, they can bounce out here and enjoy our Lost Legends of The Stone Circle. The neighbouring Corris Craft Centre and most of the Craft Studios (except for those where food is produced) welcome dogs too RSPCA (England & Wales)🐶🐕🐩🐾

Come and spend the night in an abandoned Slate Mine... Underground Sleepovers take place in the slate caverns above King Arthur's Labyrinth!

User

Wonderful place. It was a great experience when hubby and I visited 10 years ago and it lived up to expectation yesterday when we took our boys (7&4).Well worth it!

User

What a wonderful place! We've visited twice and both times we were transported to a magical world full of dragons and legends. The little shops and craft centre are so lovely and it has a picnic area and a great cafe too - we can't wait to come back!

User

What a birthday treat for my son. We all really enjoyed this trip. I Think it was excellent value for money, with the boat ride and the walk. My son loved the waterfall, and the medal at the end if the maze was a nice little touch. Also the cafe at the site had really good food.

User

We really enjoyed our visit here the boat trip was great . Must remember next time to have a coat though should have read that bit properly 😀

User

We had a great time - thank you to Jack our boatman and the lady in the shop who showed us lots of pictures and chatted with us as my daughter was quite apprehensive about the caves. We were the only 2 on the last tour of the day so had the place to our selves. Highly recommend Arthur's Labyrinth.

User

Visited with my family today 6 of us ranging in age from 4 years-60 years! Had the most fantastic day! There was something for all to enjoy from shopping in the quirky little shops, to running around the maze to win a golden trophy to the amazing cave learning all about King Arthur. Thank you so much will definitely visit again.

User

Visited here on the last day of our holiday and were very pleasantly surprised! It's a fantastic place for the children and the young at heart! Lots of effort put into everything and I've never seen such a sight as those under ground caverns! Not in this country anyway! Also the lady in the wood shop was brilliant with our daughter and the gentleman in the chocolate shop was so sorry she couldn't make a chocolate bar that he gave her a free lolly! Made her holiday! thanks again

User

The weather was awful on the day we attended. That made it fairly busy and on booking we were told there was a 40 minute wait. That wasn't a problem as there's lots of other things to do like the other little shops. Inside I thought it was really good value for money and the tales being told was well portrayed. Boat ride was good and without any spoilers would definitely recommend it.

User

Really good wander through the caves , interesting commentary and displays. Only criticism is that , despite the warnings about 'steady pace' , I would have referred to it as brisk and possibly a bit too much so for the slightly less mobile among us. Some of the lower jagged ceilings maybe could do with subtle lighting as it is a tad hard to see in some parts ( safety helmets stop any major damage!) - all in all a great little trip and the shops were nice to walk around as well as a fantastic bite to eat in the cafe.

User

Our second visit, Turned up without booking, and was lucky to catch the back end of a group that had just started. As a single parent of two little people ( 7 & 5) trying to keep them amused is a hard feat.... but this tour kept them interested all the way till the end . Excellent value for money. The staff were brilliant. Will be visiting again next year, thank you.

User

Lovely place to visit, we all enjoyed the labyrinth tour chocolate shop was amazing

User

Have been visiting since first opened, with relays of grandchildren - yesterday with our oldest grandchild along with her daughter (and a 16 yr old granddaughter on her 3rd visit over years!). The magic of King Arthur's Labyrinth simply does not fade, tremendous atmosphere, and the enhancements developed over time retain and indeed increase the wonderful sense of mystery and adventure. Full marks too for letting the place breathe its own power, resisting the temptation to over-egg with technology. Thanks to all concerned for this splendid creation.

User

Great wee shops that sell a variety of different things, we made candles and the woman was very patient and the shop was reasonably priced. Arthur's mine was interesting and the circle had some great old tales to hear. Dogs welcome in most of the shops and there is a nice walk nearby also.

User

First time visit today. Fantastic day, ended up staying nearly the whole day before travelling home to Derby. The labyrinth was brilliant, authentic characters, great story telling. The candle workshop & chocolate making was amazing too, lovely friendly staff in all the shops & in particular the cafe! Will definitely return. Thank you

User

Fantastic place. There are lots of shops cafe etc outside . Craft center's. But the best bit is the guided tour itself. Lots of walking underground in caves and tunnels. It's cold inside so wrap up warm and wear sensible shoes.

User

Fantastic - but I would advise to book ahead online to avoid disappointment. Very glad we did😊 The Labyrinth was really well organised and guided. My 5 year old was "super excited" and thought it was "awesome!"

We also did the bards' quest which was a fab way of going to all parts of a maze. It was looking a little shabby in some places and some of the stories were hard to hear because you were close to others or the volume was too low. Son again was really please with the medal that he won.

Wish we had had more time to look round all the lovely craft huts but little one had had enough.

A very successful day out. Highly recommend👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

User

Excellent King Arthur's Labyrinth boat ride and walk for both children and adults. My 7 yr old son and I turned up when it opened at 10am and got an early booking as it was a rainy day. We also love the Corris Craft Centre for a chance for some quirky shopping. All round a lovely day out despite the heavy rain.

User

Been wanting to visit for years but due to distance never been. As we where near the area we decided to visit. So glad we did. Had a fab day out. Took our 15 month old daughter who isn't able to walk. We where able to take the buggy as far as the cave entrance then had to carry her the rest of the way. Jack the tour guide was fantastic! Not only was he very informative, he also entertained our daughter by giving her a glow stick. Will deffantly return

User

Absolutely fantastic. Great day out for kids and adults. We had 5 children with us and all thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of great fun and little shops to look around afterwards too, not forgetting a gin distillery! Really great day with the family. Would love to return again and highly recommended.
