As one of the Top10 manufacturing companies in Wales, Kronospan employs over 600 people, 90% of whom live within 10 miles of our Chirk site. Many of us have worked here since we opened in 1970. We’re a close-knit family, 100% committed to each other and our customers. Together, we’ve grown to be the UK leader by thinking ahead, anticipating customer needs, investing in innovation and setting new standards in environmental sustainability.
Kronospan is the UK's only fully integrated producer of Wood Based Panel Products, so we're able to control every detail of every part of every process at our Chirk base in North Wales.
Everything we produce is made right in Chirk by local people. It’s more of a family than a workforce. Generations follow generations in the business, making their own valuable contribution. As they develop their individual skills and expertise, so we develop as a market leader.
