fantastic food, fantastic staff and amazing value for what you get � we will be returning

Went there on Sunday after experiencing poor customer service down SA1 in La Parilla, as we just walked in , we didn’t book a table the staff were very efficient and got us a table and the service was very good , the food was a little special too . Quality food great service �

Three of us had lunch yesterday ( Sunday ) and all three meals were fantastic, best fish in Swansea, best tartar sauce in Swansea, best fish in Swansea. Wine as usual was tremendous, I have been going here for many years although not so often lately and thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely lunch, service was polite and efficient, what more could you ask for. Thanks Brasseria.

Stunning creamy garlic mushrooms followed by rump steak.

Have been underwhelmed with previous dining experiences here but can honestly say was wowed last night. Ambience, food and service outstanding. Thank you!

Excellent service and we were recommended a white Insiration Rioja wine and a Conde de la Valdemar red to try that was not on the menu so i ordered one of each, the waiter from Syria knew his wines alright, i ordered the cold prawns to start and the Lamb Brochette for the main it was delicious, thanks again to all the staff that made my family welcome.

Been here a lot. Food is always fresh and beautifully cooked. Staff are so helpful and polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. My sister and her husband are over from NZ in May and can’t wait to take them here.? Still my favourite after all these years. Will keep coming back.

Went with a group of friends over the weekend for my Birthday..Extremely busy lunch service but food was very prompt and tasted great !



Beef meddallions literally melted in your mouth.However,service wasnt the best, very cayotic in there and service behind the bar very slow

Not great. I asked for the stuffed peppers without cheese and it came with cheese, when they took it back they just scraped the cheese off and have it back to me. Lucky I was not allergic. The stuffed peppers were stuffed with more peppers in a tomato sauce with a couple of other veg but predominantly more peppers. Not unpleasant, but I got bored of eating it before I finished, so the filling could certainly have been more interesting. There are hundreds of other things they could have been filled with like beans, rice, quinoa, couscous etc it just takes a bit of thought for your vegetarian and vegan guests. That being said, The chips are always lovely here. I wouldn't go here again through choice but wouldn't actively avoid if going with a group.

Average. Arrived for an evening meal. The chips were mostly bits and not really enjoyable- disappointing because they’re normally so good. We had salad to start- this seemed overpriced for the selection on offer at £8! Had baked hake which was lovely and our wine was good. Not overly impressed though and won’t rush back. This was not what I expected at all. 12 ladies on a hen night having to queue to order their food, then long wait for the food, food quality was poor.... Honey glazed duck was extremely dry. Even witnessed head waiter shouting at staff.... Poor customer care. Not suitable for large parties.

The real issue here is the lack of booking system for less than six. I was asked if I wanted to order drinks whilst we waited to be seated having returned 1 hour after being told of the lengthy wait only for the barman to go walkabout. Both couples ordered Garlic Bread that never arrived to the waitress credit she removed those from the bill. The food was bland but the Wine was top notch. Service and Quality seems to have dropped in last 12 months.

Regular visitors over the Years, and on Xmas Eve particularly. Always busy and hardly room to move. This year however nowhere near as busy, even empty tables. What was the response? Take off the ‘Specials Menu’ and only have The A La Carte menu, these maximising your profits st the expense of your customers. That was the perception, if it’s not the case please reply. I have messaged you twice but had no reply.



Plus, the guy on the servers upstairs had an awful attitude, and when asked by a young girl why he didn’t smile, he answered “I’m not paid to smile”. You’re in the service industry!!

My steak came underdone which was fine, waited for someone to ask me about f everything was ok with me meal. No one did! When someone came to clear our plates I explained that my steak was underdone and I couldn’t eat it and the waiter (who I believe was a supervisor) said with an attitude That he came to ask of everything was ok during the meal? Which he didn’t. His attitude stunk and the bill came, we were overcharged. We had to speak again to this said waiter to change the bill THREE times until it was correct. So disappointing as I have been here on several occasions with no problems. I don’t appreciate the waiters (customer service)!

Had a lovely meal good service, but was very busy so we were seated upstairs and over to left it was very quiet and absolutely freezing, we literally shivered all night and needed up finishing our drinks outside under patio heaters which turned out to be warmer than inside

Expected better! Ordered gambas to start i counted 4 prawns, looked pathetic at a cost of £10 for starter. The food ordered was not what was served, various mistakes were made. Rare steak served when well done was requested etc. Completely wrong steak served. Service was very poor, no apology provided . Tables were so close together so couldn't get out once sitting down. Lunch time menu was advertised but I was told not available. Overall a very poor experience.

Went last night for an anniversary meal, guy Derek was one of the rudest people I’ve ever been served by, decided after ordering food we would leave it and went to Morgans where we were treated really well. People will forget how the food tastes in weeks or months, however they will always remember the way you make them feel. Absolutely disgraceful service. I wouldn’t have Derek near customers, get him washing the pots and pans and cleaning only.

Very poor service this evening, management would not take responsibility for his staff actions. We will never visit again, and recommend everyone to stay away.

Terrible evening last night saddly. Had the Gambas prawns to start which was advertised as £6.50 on the board, had 4 small prawns floating in a large hot plate swimming in garlic butter, we had to ask for bread just to make it a meal, no garnish or anything snd on the bill tbey charged £9.50 . My morrocan Chicken was so dry it stuck to the top of my mouth, again no garnish or sause or yougurt to compliment. When I complained the foreign waiter offered me ketchup. I was gob smacked. Will never go there again. Over priced by far.

Lunch time menu was advertised but I was told not available. Overall a very poor experience.

Went last night for an anniversary meal, guy Derek was one of the rudest people I’ve ever been served by, decided after ordering food we would leave it and went to Morgans where we were treated really well. People will forget how the food tastes in weeks or months, however they will always remember the way you make them feel. Absolutely disgraceful service. I wouldn’t have Derek near customers, get him washing the pots and pans and cleaning only.

Very poor service this evening, management would not take responsibility for his staff actions. We will never visit again, and recommend everyone to stay away.

Terrible evening last night saddly. Had the Gambas prawns to start which was advertised as £6.50 on the board, had 4 small prawns floating in a large hot plate swimming in garlic butter, we had to ask for bread just to make it a meal, no garnish or anything snd on the bill tbey charged £9.50 . My morrocan Chicken was so dry it stuck to the top of my mouth, again no garnish or sause or yougurt to compliment. When I complained the foreign waiter offered me ketchup. I was gob smacked. Will never go there again. Over priced by far.
