The best Tapas I have eaten outside Spain, along with the great service in a nice comfortable place.

Staff were welcoming, very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, compliments to the chef, cocktail 🍸 was lovely on staff recommendations. Lovely evening had by all Thank you to all the staff at La Cocina. (11/4/18 evening out with family and friend.)

Popped in here yesterday with the other half for some lunch. Took advantage of the lunchtime menu. Food was lovely and hot and very tasty. Can't believe it was only us and 2 other people in the whole place at 2pm.

My first visit and definitely won’t be the last, the food was outstanding, great atmosphere and decor and the cocktails were great.

I absolutely love this place! Amazing food, lovely cocktails and beers, beautiful atmosphere and music and attentive staff! Highly recommend!

Had the £15 per head mixed tapas buffet selection with a large group. An endless procession of dishes were brought by polite and attentive staff. Delicious fish goujons, aeoli, meatballs, tortilla, mushrooms, gambas, halloumi, belly pork, chicken and chorizo skewers etc. Everything was tasty. Cocktails were good too! Recommended.

Had lunch here last Friday with my husband and son. I really didn’t expect to have such delicious food in Bridgend town centre, Such a lovely surprise. Will certainly go there again. Service was good, a delightful helpful waitress. Toilets were spotless which to me is an excellent indication of the standard of the service and food.

Food is absolutely fantastic the service is EXCELLENT and the cocktail are very very good

Fabulous food great atmosphere. Lovley staff. My other half said it was the best brownie he has ever had! We really enjoyed it.

Fabulous food and great service. We visit here regularly as the standard is so high. My only additional comment is that I would like a glass of dry sherry with my appetizers, especially as this Is a Spanish themed restaurant and bar. I couldn't find any anywhere on the drinks or wine menu.

Don't understand the bad reviews on here � went Saturday night with the missus and we both had the steak meal and the food, staff and cocktails were spot on couldn't ask for more.will definitely be going again ��

Absolutely lovely time! Me & the bestie on an afternoon lunch date, ordered far too much, but so hard to still not pick, even with full bellies! Didn't catch her name, lovely waitress, couldn't do enough for us.. even wrapped the leftovers for me, as there was far too much to eat! Stunning food, perfect service & a fabulous afternoon 10/10 from me �

We were then just left for at least 20 minutes - no one came and asked us if we wanted a drink while others who came in after us had ordered and been served. We eventually ordered drinks and food. The portions were quite small - we eat tapas quite often and found it quite bland. The bread and oil starter said freshly cooked bread - some of the bread was dry. Definitely won't rush back. Paid £75 for two of us and really let down. No interaction from serves - bill was just plonked down on the table - no thank you etc...

Went last night arrived at 6pm without prebooking. Told we could have a table until 7.30pm no problem we thought plenty of time to eat. Order taken quickly food arrived at 6.50pm. 7.15pm we'd just finished eating to have a member of staff tell us we had 15 mins remaining! We could change tables though! I found this rude and said we'd finish at our table and if they needed a table by a particular time it was their responsibility to relay this to the kitchen not keep us waiting 40 mins for food. Asked for a pudding and the bill in meantime manager comes over and claims we weren't kept waiting refused to accept responsibility for any miscommunication to the kitchen said it was saturday it was busy and they had bookings. He repeatedly spoke over me and then said he would talk to my son instead! Dreadful experience food was ok but not exceptional wouldn't recommend due to very poor customer service. The waitress was lovely and super polite but manager needs to remember that arguing with customers doesn't do the business any favours. If you can't seat feed 2 people in 90 mins then don't accept walk ins!!

Unfortunately, our experience here last night was not a good one in terms of service. I had booked a table of 6 for 8pm and we arrived in good time, however, our table was not available to us until 8.40pm, and once seated there was no attention or service so after 10 minutes I got up and called over a member of staff. Our order was taken and then we were told we would have to wait a further 30 minutes for our food because they were busy! I spoke with the Manager and the response was 'It's Saturday night' and they were busy! This is in no way a satisfactory answer to poor service..I could elaborate but all I would say, is please get it sorted, whether it's staffing levels, or overbooking, it's just not acceptable. Food was fab, but the service for us was a real let down, and based on that, would have to think twice about booking again.

Service was poor. Felt most of the staff were unhelpful & by time we sat down there was only half of the menu left. Was told stuff wasn’t available after ordering & when we asked for extra veg we had stuff brought out that we didn’t have originally. Food was good but meat portions were tiny it felt like they were running out & had to make sure they could feed all the other tables. Noticed the last table were offered turkey when no other table was & were given frozen Yorkshire puddings instead of home made like everyone else. Overall disappointing visit.
