You can't find better, more authentic and reasonably priced, freshly cooked Italian food in Cardiff...and it's on my doorstep! I'm so lucky! I recommend Alessandro's cooking to all my Air bnb guests and they've loved the convenience of take aways, as well as eating in. Portions are very generous, ambience is traditional, service is great...I can't praise La Mangiatoia highly enough!

What a class little joint. If you want amazing pizza, in a very relaxed atmosphere, where you can take your own booze then this is the place. Alessandro who runs the place is an absolute gent and his cooking is very, very good.

Our first visit to La Mangiatoia. The food was out of this world and the place itself was very homely. The only thing i would say is if your having a starter and main share if you can as the portions are massive. Absolutely great value for money, would highley recommend. Thank you �

I'd heard good things so we gave this little place a try - we weren't disappointed! Amazing food in a cosy setting and at very reasonable prices. We went for the Pasta Carbonara and the Chicken Parma Ham. The portion sizes were significant ("do you want to take the rest home?") which meant we didn't get to try the Calzone dessert - we'll be back for sure. Thank you Alessandro! :)
