Welcome to La Modiste Mercantile!
We are an online boutique with a pop-up shop on Temple Gardens during the Llandrindod Wells Victorian week - Monday 21st August to Sunday 27th August 2017. All profits will go directly to the Victorian Festival.
Here you will find a wide selection of historical attire; from costumes and millinery to accessories and undergarments as well as an on-site alterations service during the festival. Ladies are invited to browse in comfort; enjoy a complimentary beverage and feel free to ask for any costume advice and guidance.
Our in-house dressmaker, Barbara, will be happy to discuss bespoke commissions for both costume and undergarments.
We are also happy to sell your unwanted period attire and accessories on your behalf; 30% commission to the festival; and donations of such items are especially welcome.
