Hello everyone!! Just a message to remind everyone the new and improved La Vita will be back open this weekend!! We will be proudly re-opening our doors on Friday to show off our new fresh look and menu! We would like to mention that La Vita will unfortunately no longer be a B.Y.O restaurant-but we are happy to introduce our new affordable and delicious wine and cocktails menu! Don’t forget to come in and check us out!! Thanks for the support everyone!!

I’m excited too announce la vita is closed for a refurb until the 22nd March , we’ll be open with a new fresh look . Few tables chairs and paintings left if any body is interested. 🌈🌈

ten of us gathered for two 65th birthdays. total years around the table 609 ! food excellent. really looked after by Marco and team. we had an excellent celebration!

What an amazing find. Been there twice in a month, once for my birthday and secondly on New Years Eve for meal with family and friends. Food is fantastic, reasonable and lots of choice. Service and staff were exceptional. Never leave reviews but felt I had to after such a great time. Would highly recommend for family as well as friends, our children loved the food and drawing on the walls....they were invited to by the staff! Looking forward to going back x

We had a great night celebrating our anniversary at La Vita, even though they were really busy they fit us in and let us eat at the bar instead of turning us away. The food is amazing, but it's the staff that make it special. Thanks for a wonderful night x

This is my 2nd visit on both times been great,the food outstanding such a great vibe to this place. Friendly staff helpful give it a go you won't be disappointed ��

This is a really low key little place that just serves good food. The calamari was tender and fresh, though I would have liked it cooked a little longer. My partner had the arrancini which were a good portion and very tasty. I ordered the pasta Norma as a main. It was not what I had in Sicily but it was delicious. The pasta with prawns was full of garlic and equally delicious.

Omg, I'm addicted to this place. It's rustic, the food is amazing every time, the staff are so friendly it's like you really are guests in their home and you get to take your own booze! Great value, great atmosphere, I love it and so has every one of my friends and family that I've taken there. Now when they visit they have to eat here every time. Enjoy!

Just enjoyed a lovely meal at La Vita. We were a table of fourteen and all of our food was prompt warm and tasty. Considering there was only one chef in the kitchen, which is open plan so you can see him working hard, I think he did a fantastic job and the service and friendliness of all the staff was impeccable. Would definitely recommend.

I am writing this as someone who has ocd when it comes to food kitchen/ hygiene, I'm very fussy when it comes to places I eat. La Vita is clean and well organised as are all of the staff. I have eaten many times at this family run restaurant, the food is of outstanding freshness and quality, the staff are very friendly and helpful, La Vita is always busy with a relaxed atmosphere and happy vibe. You can watch your food being freshly prepared and cooked as the kitchen is in view of the tables. In my opinion the food here is to die for and I would eat here all the time if I could afford it! HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

Fabulous food my starter of calamari was delicious and I ordered The Godfather pizza it was amazing, lovely atmosphere, just a great place to eat.

Don't usually comment on these things, but I saw a couple of negative ones from tonight so I had to get involved. A few of us had food here earlier (Friday 1st April) and it was SPECTACULAR! The food was absolutely top quality, even as someone who's spent many summers in Italy I have to say this rivalled the most traditional meals; the service was brilliant, smiles galore and no ill advised attempts to push a second dessert on to you (like so many chains I refuse to name), and more than anything that is what lets this place keep its personable vibe. If you want real Italian food, in a real Italian kitchen, this is the place to come, and ignore the naysayers under me. They're probably just disappointed they couldn't order a Chicago town deep dish pizza.



[And one quick tip: try to be served by the blonde haired girl if you can - we always try to sit in her line of sight, and it always works out.]

Bowled over by the quality of the food, the decor, and the atmosphere. Parents visiting after recent move from Newport - only place on Albany Road to catch my eye, and didn't disappoint! Swordfish was cooked perfectly, and will be back for more!

Authentic Italian. Great service, friendly and accomodating. The seafood risotto special tonight was awesome. This place is always busy but manages to squeeze you in.

Shame they ran out of steak. Y 7pm on a sat night but what we had was very good. Wasn't impressed to be told our booking wasn't in the book a little more organisation would help but still good
