Bueatifullyi maintained site surrounded by interesting walks and sights to visit . Facilities on the park are good and more than adequate they are clean and cared for if a little old fashioned. The staff are friendly and helpful . We will definitely use this site again.

The site is good with helpful staff and adequate facilities. The location is outstanding if you want to use it as a base for walking. The castle estates neighbor the site so you can easily complete a three mile loop round the castle. The canal and aqueduct are next door so level walks are easily accessible.

Nice clean site, friendly wardens, lots of rabbits and squirrels to keep you amused. Small woodland dog walk, open field for a runaround. Plenty of good woodland trails nearby. Site close to impressive Aquaduct , a walk through the 421m dark tunnel next to the station is a must. The only downside is no footpath from the site to town.

Good position for exploring the area and getting to some great National Trust properties - Chirk Castle and Errdig

Located bang on the grounds of Chirk Castle and a stones throw from the Chirk Aquaduct. Site has a nice range of pitches too. If only they'd put the kids playground back in and open up the second toilet block it would be 5 stars

Beautiful site, absolutely stunning location. Only 4 stars because it could do with a little updating.

Loved it. Small woodland site but very friendly staff and the location beats everything. Chirk castle on the doorstep and the canal with the aqueduct near by. Didn't use the car once on the three nights we were there.
Pitches are well spaced and the facilities clean. Could do with updating and showers improving but on the whole all good.
Did find it amusing that the new C&M signs were up already but the facilities seem to have been neglected...

We've stayed her a couple of times. Very peaceful and handy for chirk castle which is 10 minutes walk away. The canal and viaducts are spectacular
