We found this place a few years ago and always grab a bite to eat when we visit Snowdonia. It’s a bit of a greasy spoon (which we like) and the food is generous and tasty. It is in a great location with lovely views and the Ffestiniog Railway passes just outside.

Last visit we even met Clare Balding off the telly there! Must be good.

A practical cafe, it is the sort of place a group of twelve wet people could go in dripping wet and order drink and food without getting sneered at for leaving puddles on the floor. The food good and cheap!

A lovely cafe in a lovely location. The staff at Lakeside are always friendly and the food is great and made to order. There is ample seating inside and you can even take your dog into one section and the owner is very dog friendly. There is also a large seating area outside for enjoying the views on a nice day. They hold some fantastic Greek buffets and have recently started opening in into the evenings. Tgere is a large parking area and is an excellent place to start a walk in the Moelwyn range.

Good amount of seats but very poplar with locals and tourists so can get busy.

The food is fresh and always tasty and generous servings at a reasonable price.
