Lakeside Caravan Park

I stayed 4 nights with my two dogs. There are nice walks and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The cafe sells very nice food and cake and the bar on site welcomes dog's and are friendly and welcoming. Showers are nice and warm and clean as too are the toilets. I would recommend this camp site ☺

We where verry tired when we came here. We rented a caravan for 4 persons. Verry friendly at the reception. But when we arrived at the caravan we where positive surprised. Nice clean and big caravan. We love it!

Friendly welcoming. We camped in a tent on the tent field without electric and we had lots of room and privacy as it wasn't too busy. There is a bar/club house that sells cheap but cheerful food and has entertainment. We were made to feel like we'd been going there years eventhough it was the first time we'd been. There's a little hut by the lake where you can hire peddlos or row boats and some good walking routes. There is also a shop and cafe. All in all a nice site that I would definitely go back to

Good campsite. Very quite location. bonuses for us were the pub and cafe on site to mix things up a little. If we had more time, we would have definitely taken advantage of the boating available on the large lake there.
Decent facilities too.

Unfortunately went when the sun wasn't shining. Definitely a place for the location though right by the lake. The touring part of the camp site is basic but functional with timed coin payment showers. Most of the site is made up of static caravans and is fairly well laid out. Would probably go back in the summer just for the lake views

Really tranquil setting. Gorgeous views.
Staff friendly. Cafe offers excellent breakfast . Value for money.
20p for a shower but nice and hot. Last about 5 mins, basic but does the job.
Toilet facilities very basic but reasonably clean apart from the floor but that's from shoes.

Lovely quiet relaxing site ! I stayed in Ernie's field which has easy access onto the common and lake via a gate in the corner of the field. Shop is well stocked with cafe one side and bar the other side. Staff are very polite and helpful
