A third generation business, Lawson D Jones was established in 1976 by Lawson and his wife Betty Jones. Lawson already had over 20 years experience in the industry working for both the CIS and Stewart Cocks Insurance Brokers.

Lawson based the business on honesty and integrity and Lawson D Jones Insurance Consultants have become a well known and respected business
serving the community for 40 years.

Their son Jeff started in 1977, and became a partner in 1985. Their aim is to continue the good work that was Lawson’s legacy maintaining a friendly, though professional business their loyal client base can rely on.

The office name was changed to 'Lawson Jones House' in early
2017 after Lawson in recognition of the business' 40th year.
