This one was quite a challenging project for us to be able to meet the expectations of Mr & Mrs Wayne Rumph of Maesteg. The kitchen space here is very compact and also had a window and three doorways that impacted on the area that was left for furniture and appliances. Again Leaf came up trumps for our customers who are absolutely over the moon with the end result.

What a beautiful project recently completed for another fabulous Leaf customer. Mrs Hilary Brown of Porthcawl chose our Fenwick 5-Piece Shaker Door in white wood grained effect is complemented perfectly with the Jackson Pine worktop from our Egger collection and brushed steel appliances and handles. Our customers own unique choice of tiling and decor really set off this quality kitchen.

Today Mr Neil Callaghan of Pencoed sent in these photographs of the finished product supplied by Leaf. A beautiful mix of modern Duleek gloss ivory furniture complimented with washed drift oak effect worktop. Appliances supplied here are from our Hotpoint studio line range with 10 year warrantee. Fantastic project with another fantastic customer. 2018 has been an amazingly successful first year for Leaf and its all thanks to our loyal customers. Onwards and upwards for 2019 😊

Another beautiful project recently completed for our delightful customers Mr & Mrs Davies of Brackla Bridgend. This one was designed and supplied by Chris at our Pyle showroom using Fenwick legno mussel furniture, this is another of our factory assembled premium rigid range, which was complimented superbly with 30mm polished silver sea quartz worktop and Bosch appliances.

In total contrast to yesterday's challenge of what can be achieved in a smaller kitchen space, here's a much larger project recently completed. Our beautiful Hampton Solid Painted Timber Kitchen in Denim Blue was supplied to Mr Frank Sinclair of North Cornelly. What a stunning finish to an amazing Kitchen & Dining Space . Mr Sinclair was a delight to work with during this project and is another totally satisfied customer of Leaf Kitchens Limited.

Making the most of a limited kitchen space can be a tricky task. For this project we were instructed by our client Adele Gilmour of Brackla Bridgend to carry out a full and comprehensive kitchen makeover whilst Adele and her partner were away on holiday in America. We arranged the removal of the existing kitchen, fully guaranteed installation of the new kitchen which included all carpentry, water plumbing, certified gas plumbing, certified electrical works, plastering, tiling..., flooring and decorating. We even fixed the customers outside light at no extra cost 😊 This was completed on time prior to Adele's return home. All rubbish and old kitchen removed and kitchen cleaned in readiness for our Clients return ... All work was guaranteed and project managed by Leaf Kitchens Limited. Adele was totally thrilled at the transformation and kindly sent us these photographs of her new pride and joy 😊

"10 Step guide to purchasing your kitchen & bedroom"
1• Come say hello…
When you are looking for a fitted kitchen or bedroom please be sure to visit the showroom to see the items and discuss your requirements with experts that genuinely care about your ideas.
... 2• Talk money…
Look at different budget sectors, you may be surprised at what’s affordable. This way you can get a clearer picture of what is right for you and your home. It will also help establish what budget you want to set for your important project.
3• Touch it…feel it… see it…
Quality is not always skin deep! When you go looking for a new kitchen or bedroom, the appeal is often based on appearance. Naturally you will look and touch the kitchen cabinets, the work surface, sink and taps. However, this can be a risky strategy. Look at the cabinets in detail, check drawer runners and hinges, are these quality soft closing mechanisms or inferior interpretations. Also check the thickness of cabinet back panels on all base & wall units… These are areas where penny pinching on quality are often hidden.
4• Options…options ...options...
What colour choices are there available to the internal and external of your cabinets. Are they just plain white, cream or oak….or do they match the colour of your chosen door frontal.
5• Is bespoke best?
If your standard kitchen cabinets do not fit neatly to your existing room, you have Two choices: Accept that standard unit sizes can be cheaper but sometimes won’t fit without the use of large unsightly filler panels, or alternatively seek out a retailer who can supply your new kitchen using specialized made to measure units that will fit your room space. Bespoke cabinets will generally come at a premium.
6• Time planning as well as kitchen planning… Look at companies that give you a realistic time scale for your project. The amount of time it takes to supply and fit your kitchen will vary, this depends on the size and the products you choose. Be suspicious of anyone that promises a very fast or very slow turn around.
7• Know what you’re buying… Are your cabinets “rigid built”, “flat pack” or “fully built”. This will impact price, installation time and installation cost.
8• Check your quote… Is everything clearly listed. Worktops, appliances, model numbers etc. Make sure what your buying is what you expect and what you expect to pay for it.
9• Don’t be rushed or feel pressured… Take time to get the design right. Consider options and ask for ideas, it is essential to see your new kitchen in the style, finish and colour of your choice before you actually buy. Brochure pictures are fine for initial ideas although they won’t tell the whole story.
10• Read reviews… Does the company have proven service standards with genuine 5* reviews. Do they offer full guaranteed in house installation service.
