Learn To Fly Cast

Keen to have a go at Fly Fishing?? Beginners Casting Course at Tan-y-Mynydd Trout Fishery on Sunday 23rd April 2017, 9.30am - 2pm,Tuition provided by Derek Turner A.A.P.G.A.I. This course is a great introduction to the sport of fly fishing, enabling everyone to sample this great sport at minimum expense. All tackle is provided if necessary and by the end of the course you will have learnt the basics of fly casting, knot tying and then how to catch some fish. A few months ago I was asked by Geoff and Martin to help improve their fly casting to enable them to catch Golden Dorados in Argentina. Neither of them had used 12 weight fly outfits before so the task was quite a challenge. However as you can see from the photos we have achieved success.
