Miserable Friday

So i thought I'd show you something quite hilarious but behind it, a message we all may need reminding of from time to time! A recent commission of a Nurse Cake Topper jogged my memory and it has been 8 years since my first attempts at modelling a figure. It just goes to show with practice and hard work (and a bit of passion) you can achieve what you set your mind to. We had a lovely baby shower at Let them See cake yesterday. Gareth was very communicative and helpful throughout the planning and very patient and understanding when (because of the Ed Sheeran concert in town), our arrival and timings were a little off. He was happy for us to decorate and very accommodating to our needs. Gareth is extremely personable and charming, which made our baby shower all the more special. The little cake studio is above Pettigrew Bakery in Victoria Park and the buffet came from the bakery downstairs, which was very good. I'll be returning for Gareth's cupcake classes with my 9 year old daughter who now thinks I am cupcake goddess after seeing the Unicorn/baby/bear cupcakes we made at the baby shower. Thanks so much Gareth!

Took part in a friends/social cupcake evening class and had a great time! The evening is very relaxed and I didn't feel out of depth from having little sugarcraft experience. Gareth also added a competitive element at the end where we had to use the skills we'd learned to create our own cupcake design in five minutes only. It was a great laugh and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone and everyone:)

Thanks again for an amazing class yesterday. You are such a patient teacher and I now feel so much more confident creating yummy cakes. Can't wait until the next class!

Thank you gareth for the fabulous 80th birthday cake. Not only did it look beautiful, but it was the most delicious, light, delicate lemon sponge we have ever tasted

My granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed today's cup cake class. She's thrilled with the cakes she brought home. Gareth is very patient with the children and makes the class fun

My daughter had her 11th birthday party at Let Them See Cake yesterday. It was an absolutely fantastic party and all of the girls had a super time. Thank you Gareth, it was so well organised, so much fun and many of the parents have told me how much they love the cakes their daughters brought home. Highly recommended!

I attended the beginners cake decorating class last year on a Weds evening, thoroughly enjoyed and learnt so much, diolch Gareth!!

Gareth made me a lovely elephant topper for a baby shower cake I was making. It was beyond anything I could have ever expected!! Everyone was blown away at the baby shower. I would highly recommend his work to everyone!! Thank you Gar :)
