Lidl

Not enough staff, poor merchandising standards, poor customer service. Only two tills open, with a queue of alteast 10 in each. Richard the DM opened another till, but spent the early minutes on his phone and then robotically managed the till.

Fantastic bakery. Love the cheese twists. Store well laid out and easy to get around.

Great Lidl, lots of choice. Very busy but that's because it's a good choice over the other local retailers.

I do like Lidl but my problem is there are too few staff on the checkouts, even when I pop in for one or two items I always have to queue, it's not because you are always busy it's because there is one or two checkouts open, today there were three open and the one I was in the queue for the checkout operator just got up and went out the back, when he came back the customer he was serving asked if there was a problem and his reply was "No I had to go and wipe my nose as I have a cold" now surely he could have had a few tissues about his person and maybe a bottle of hand antibacterial gel on each checkout would be a good idea!!! Come on Lidl sort the staffing issue out so customers do not have to keep waiting in queues!!

Great prices, especially recommend the bakery section!! Also looking very smart since being done up!!

Great shop. Helpful staff. If you want to get more for your money this is the place to do your weekly shop. Don't like all of their food though
