Life Map Planners is a programme that is in direct response to the growing number ofyoung people that are both falling through the cracks at school and offers at-risk childrenand young people the opportunity to make a dramatic change in their lives. Life MapPlanners wants to surround young people in a caring, inclusive learningenvironment. AimOur aim is to serve children and young people from disadvantaged communities PanWales offering innovative projects that span the field of education, employment, mentalhealth, juvenile and social justice. We deal with such critical issues as child poverty, delinquency, delayed education, homelessness and unemployment. Life Map Planners Objectives are: To act as a resource for young people in disadvantaged communities within Wales by providing advice and assistance and organisingprogrammes of physical, educational and other activities as a means of: (a) Advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities andcapabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature, andresponsible individuals;(b) Advancing education;(c) Relieving unemployment;(d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare forpeople living in the area of benefit.
