We've been before and had mixed results but today we had a family platter with extra lamb schwarma and it was lush. They bought us complementary starters, the waitress was smiley and attentive (though we were one of 2 groups in). Juice drinks came quickly, food was timely, hot, tasty, even the chips were crispy.



Only bad part was the ribs which were a bit dry and fatty in equal parts.



We asked for a box to take home and they offered to box it up, but we did it ourselves.



Didn't have sweets as we were too full.



The place was supposedly refurbished, it looked clean, but much the same as before. Perhaps the cookers/toilets had been refitted?



We were tentative about going back but we really happy to find a return to excellent form. Keep it up!

Very good customer service! Not all the restaurants are run like this one, Lilo cares about their customers and will make things right if you're not happy! They made sure that I was well taken care of. I been in Lilo few times and everything attracted me to come again and again�I would recommend this place to others !! You will experience the best customer service and delicious food �

The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly big variety and something for everyone... sooooooo full!

Me and my uncle been here twice and the food was absolutely tasty. And everything was fresh. Service was ok cause the staff dont come back to ask if we are ok, or if we need anything else we have to get up and see or ask what we want. Plus the waitress dont understand english so was hard to tell her how i wanted to pack the rest of the food home. Other then that food was lush.

I thought the atmosphere was lovely it was just like you was on holiday abroad the food was excellent and the freshly squeezed juice went down a treat the service was fast and efficient and I will definitely be back for another visit ��

I love this place the food is delicious .the staff are very polite ,smart and hard working. The food is served in great portions with great timing and delicious. The best restaurant in newport .will recommend 100% .

I have ordered food from here a few times and it was lovely but came in today with my 2 children and fiancée and i have to say i was shocked how amazing not only the service was but the food was out of this world i would come back in a heart beat! Ive eaten in a few restaurant in newport but you guys are by far the best i have ever had! Thank you so much everything was amazing

I have been a customer with Lilo ages ago and everything is amazing with this unique restaurant from the fast delivery service to the customer service ending with the delicious food.

The Arabic shawrma is truly amazing � it’s one of the best food i have ever tried.

I hate goodbyes so i will be at Lilo restaurant again and again.

Had a few deliverys now shawarma is lovely and the family platter is great hot and tasty great meat and rice and the salad is to die for !!!

First visit here today for lunch, the food was amazing freshly cooked, huge portion, excellent value for money 2x adult meal with drink 1xchild meal with drink and dessert £15!!!

The service was fantastic and the waitress was so lovely, will definitely be visiting again.�

Amazing food. Really good music. Very hard working kitchen staff who prepare the food with alot of detail. All the staff and the manager are very respectful. But the most best thing about this restaurant is the Waitress on the shop floor. Every single time me and my family have come to visit she made us feel so welcome. She always makes time for us, and my 1 year old son loves playing with her. Now Lilo has become our best restaurant in Newport to go to. Thank you for making our experience special every time.

Went there with friends and family after a long time, realised they increased the prices and their food quality went down as well. There was less rice in plate than before for the more money. Didnt like it at all, used to love it all the time but not anymore. Would only go there juice. Only giving it 2 stars coz of the drinks.

We’ve had some great food from Lilo’s over past few months but it saddens me to say tonight’s food was a massive disappointment. My wife placed an order through just-eat around 6 o’clock but unfortunately forgot to add an item to the one of the meals.



We had ordered for delivery so I tried calling for 10 minutes to amend the order but couldn’t get through. I decided jump in the car and drive down to the restaurant hoping to catch the order before it was dispatched. Surprisingly when I got to Lilo’s Restaurant on Cardiff Road there was a hand written note on the window advising that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment and to call Aladdin’s Grill on Clarence Place.



My wife called the number to which the order was already out for delivery. Whilst I can’t complain with how fast it arrived I can complain about of food. This wasn’t restaurant quality and looked nothing like our previous orders of the same dishes. It was greasy, the flatbread was thin and neither of us could finish the food due to its unpleasantness.



If we had been informed that Lilo’s wasn’t open and the food was coming from another restaurant we wouldn’t have placed the order. Even if the restaurant is linked to the pizza and juice bar the quality is completely different. I tried calling the manager to explain this but he insisted he couldn’t hear me (I could hear him clearly) and asked me to hang up so that the line to could reset and when I called back again the phone had been turned off. After complaining to Just Eat they gave me the managers direct mobile number to which I didnt get an answer. I left the message and have yet to hear back.



From start finish this has been an uphill struggle and has left me not wanting to order or recommend both Just Eat and Lilos’ to anyone. This is poor customer service and a refund would go a small way to restoring some faith. Essentially we had food from a completely different restaurant this was apparent as the quality wasn’t there.

Ordered a meal at 20.50 an hour later it still wasn't delivered. We called and was told that the order would be with us in 10 minutes, a further hour later (2hours after the meal was ordered) we called again to be told that our meal was still there, had not left the shop, that they didn't know how long it has been sat there and that they didn't know how long the delivery would be. To add to this poor service we asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund to be made to the card to be told this could not be done. Will not order from here again.

I wish they was a rating of -9.5 option. I ordered from here last night the food took 2.5 hours to come and only sopose to be 40 mins when it arrived the milk drinks were missing the didn't have any change for £20 the pizza was cold and very greasy the wrap I ordered the paper was stuck to it because it had been left that long and was cold 40 mins later the wrong drinks arrived with some bashed up carrot cake as a sign of sorry for messing up. Apsaloot terrible costumer service the place needs shutting down. Evan the dog stuck it's nose up at the food.

Horrendous staff & Food arrived inedible, 1/2piri chicken looked more like road kill, unable to cut it with a knife let alone eat it. Cold chips, overly fatty lamb. Rang up to complain to be greeted by Ali who offered a partial refund of £10 - order was over £30! Rang back an hour later to ask where our refund was, food bagged up ready to be collected as asked to do. Mohamed claimed to know nothing & continued to protest nothing was wrong with the food as they'd had no other complaints that night?� didn't know where Ali was & stated no1 was in charge and they had no manager! assured us refund would arrive by 11pm after 10minutes of protest... two days later and we haven't received a penny back! Both Ali & Mohamed where extremely rude on the phone & seriously lacking in any customer service skills. If I could rate it 0 I would have!
