Lime Tree

Booked a meal, on a Thursday evening, to meet with relatives mainly because it allows dogs. Our booking had not been recorded. The food was good and service prompt and pleasant. Unfortunately there was live music which wasnt mentioned when booking. It was very loud and might have been more tolerable if it wasnt so 'very' loud. It seemed to me to be an 'experimental form of jazz. Suffice to say if we could have had a meal somewhere else we would have gone there. Would have been 4 or 5 stars if not for the noise.

Good selection of food and a nice atmosphere.

Turned up this evening in a group of seven people - we were given a warm welcome and offered a table Sat together upstairs. The service was great, and the food was incredible. All of us really enjoyed the meal and had a lovely evening. Thank you!

Lime Tree was a great place for lunch. It boasts a varied menu, good quality food and an even better selection of great drinks. There's also a good set of weekday offers. Well worth a look.

Nice Tapas menu and friendly staff. Food quality can vary a little from excellent to just Ok, but in the main very good.

The cafe's dining area was surprisingly large with an eclectic decor. Food and drinks are orders at the bar and delivered to the table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordered a steak and eggs breakfast, steak was cooked perfectly and the herbed fries were great. The only negative aspect was the steak knife was so dull it was easier to cut the steak with the butter knife. Replacing cutlery is an easy fix and we would totally return for food and drinks.

Love this place. Coffee and cake is always good. They just need to stop putting hot drinks in front of toddlers!!

It's a nice cosy environment, but food service is really slow for what is a fairly straight forward menu. Drinks can be pricy especially the wine.

I could have stayed all day. Super relaxed atmosphere, cool decor and friendly staff all draw you in. Food was excellent with great choice including for vegetarians. Prices were totally reasonable and the selection. Of food included light bites to full meals. Will go again.
