Little Italy (The Original)

Sixth time coming within a year tonight, and couldn't ask for better quality, service and overall atmosphere. I've read some reviews about time and availability being an issue but it's easy to get a table if you use your head and book a day before, and it's not a fast food restaurant so I'm baffled why people are upset that their food takes time to cook. The food arrives in a timely fashion, and I've always been able to book a table, even same day in a lot of cases. The food itself is unmatched in Aberystwyth and in my opinion, anywhere else. The service is attentive without being annoying and intrusive. The atmosphere is set with beautifully lit rooms and tables are impeccable. I couldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone enough, and will be attending only ever more and more.

Fabulous food and super friendly service! Whilst holidaying in Aber we ate out five nights in a row but this was the best! The young lady that served us (from Staffordshire) was absolutely amazing, all good news with this restaurant, we will be back. 100%

Beautiful meals with authentic feel atmosphere and decor. Fabulous table service. Perfect for a date night with your beloved. Most of all, amazing meals bar none!

Work takes me to Aberystwyth quite frequently. Have been trying to eat at this restaurant for several months. Either it is closed or, despite an empty room, no tables are available! !! Funny sort of business. Wonder if it is just a "front" as they don't seem overly enthusiastic about feeding people. The Mediterranean restaurant, by contrast, is open all hours and happy to squeeze in another customer.

Fantastic little place! One of the best steaks I've had in a long time... great service and nice atmosphere... make sure you book to avoid disappointment

Did not need to pre book, tasty food & very attentive happy staff. Interesting decor as well.

I'll get straight to it: highly recommend! The atmosphere is great and the staff and are friendly and helpful, but never overbearing. Had a starter, red wine, the pasta piccola italia, dessert, and a cappuccino: all were excellent. The pasta sauce was extraordinary; it is not often after a filling pasta meal you want more, but if they had set down another plate, I couldn't have helped myself.

Tip! I do recommend getting a reservation, but it's not necessary.

After reading several good reviews and persevering to finally book a table we were somewhat disappointed with our meal. The Pasta/salmon special was very average and the Pizza base was under cooked.
