Llan is an 'new monastic' community based in Cardiff, South Wales

In ancient Wales, the 'llan' was a holy space within which a monastery was built and a community of spiritual seekers gathered. They were not all monks, many were lay people who worked within the Llan and attended prayers etc. Whoever they were, however, they wanted to discover what life was all about and believed that Jesus could show them. At Llan we want to do exactly the same: invite people to explore their own spiritual journey in community with other pilgrims, all of us believing that on some level, in some way, Jesus is central to our yearning.
