Llandrindod Lake Paddle Boats

Hi everyone closed Saturday,prior engagement, sorry Last day of pedalos on Sunday for 2018, hopefully I'll have them back on the lake in the spring. Thank you for all the support kind wishes and laughter I've had from you all, over the last 6 months See you Sunday or next year. 😋

The Met office are forecasting a dry afternoon...If this happens Ill have the boats out by 1 pm, and your seats will be dry, so you can work off that Sunday lunch!😜

I probably don't need to post this one as it's pretty obvious that it is filthy outside. No boats today, and I'll keep you all posted on tomorrow's forecast

I've had a word, and I've ordered decent weather for opening at 11:30. Seats dried and weather booked. What could possibly go wrong? I hope to continue through October half term but the boats will finish in November. Massive thank you for all the support and good will I've had over the last few months. All going well I'll have the fleet afloat in the spring. I really hope you've enjoyed it (I've had a blast and met sooo many many people and made some good friends) It would be a shame to end it there after this viability study. Fingers crossed the maths works out and we can put the boats on the water next year Massive thank you, Stu

Opening tomorrow as normal, however we will close while the Raft race @ the lake takes place. Opening again once we have cleared the debris/swimmers/chaos. 😜

I'd like to say "blue sky is booked for tomorrow", but Ill be there and we will see how it goes Hope to see you there

We opened all was good, it went dark, then it rained, then it REALLY rained, but then the sun shone and we had some good laughs. The forecast isnt too clever for sunday so unless the Met get it wrong..we will be closed tomorrow

Today was a wash out! but, I got loads of jobs done! new rudder on number 3 dragon and cleaned the cranks for easy pedaling and home early to spend time with wifey and the cub, so a pretty good day in the end 😁

I get asked these all the time so...Opening around 11am closing at 5pm unless its busy or visa versa Dragons are £13/ half hour £20/ full hour Pelicans are £10/ half hour £15/full hour If its really quite I may not be in a rush for your boat, however when its busy people may be waiting for your boat to return on time.
... The amount of people you can get on a boat is based on weight not seating, the Dragons are based on four adults or its weight equivalent
The pelicans are less, two adults and a child or its weight equivalent.
I don't have a card reader, as this is still a viability study into having hire boats back on the lake.
If its really windy or raining or all of my seat drying towels are wet I will close

We went on the dragon boats as part of our 'Land Ahoy' topic. We had a fabulous time. Stu was great with the children and they loved it. I can't think of a better place to be on a hot day. I think we covered every subject in the curriculum in a fun and meaningful way. Thank you so much.

Waited many many years for boats to return to the lakes. We were so excited to discover you today and the dragon boat was lots of fun. Lovely staff too. Thank you.

Really fun experience for both adults and kids .. a bargain price too, we will definitely be back !!

Really enjoyed our ride in the dragon boat today. What a marvellous idea bringing the boats back. The whole place was buzzing with excitement. Wonderful !!!

Me and my two boys had a wonderful time on the boats today, staff were so friendly and we loved the dragon boat! Thankyou everyone who got the boats back to the lake and thankyou to the staff for all their hard work..we will certainly be back ����

Had a wonderful time on the lake. Kids loved it. Great to see soo many people enjoying and to see llandod buzzing!

Had a super time out on the paddle boats. What great way to spend an hour. So lovely to see the ducks and ducklings tagging on to our journey and a great laugh when we got too close to the serpent and it's jets of water!! Stuart couldn't be more helpful and kind sorting the little one into their life jackets. - Thank you for a superb time.

Great boats, and fabulous to see something that was so enjoyed in previous years brought back to life. Lots of laughter and chatting at the Lake yesterday. Wonderful to see and hear.
