It is with great sadness to inform you all that Diane Evans sadly passed away this afternoon.
Diane held many positions within the Bowls community including being Llandrindod Bowling Club Secretary for many years and Club Captain during the 2017/18 season.
Diane was also a great ambassador for the Welsh Ladies Indoor Bowls Association and was a Welsh selector for many years along with being President during the 2012/13 season.
... Diane will be greatly missed around the club.
All of our thoughts go out to Eddie and their family during this sad time.

Congratulations to Llandrindod youngsters James and Dan Powell who today won the Under 18 Welsh Pairs. After topping their group they went on to beat West Glamorgan in a high quality Final.

LLANDRINDOD SECURE LEAGUE AND ROSE BOWL DOUBLE.
After securing the league title at home to Rhayader on Tuesday, Llandrindod traveled to Presteigne to win 14-0 in a 69-45 victory to secure the league title once again. Saturday saw the Cambrian news Rosebowl Semifinals against Presteigne once again with Llandrindod winning a hard fought battle by 4 shots to secure a final berth against Kerry in which Llandrindod went on to secure the Rosebowl title for the second consecutive year.

The Welsh Bowling Association have decided to postpone tomorrow’s Finals (Friday 16th) due to tomorrows weather forecast. These finals will be played Saturday 17th instead.

Welsh National Finals
The 2019 National Championships run from Friday 9th August to Monday 19th August at Llandrindod Wells.
We would like to make everyone aware the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted in the clubhouse and smoking on the greens is also not permitted.
... Both car parks are available for players and spectators with the adjacent field also being used as an overflow car park.
Llandrindod Wells Bowling Club will also be providing live scoring throughout the Championships along with the Carruthers Shield, County Finals and Savegar Trophy Final, see the attached link.

Carruthers Quarter Finals
Llandrindod travel to Cardiff to take on current champions Penylan with a place in this year’s semi finals at stake after hard earned wins over Ely Valley, Gilfach Bargoed and Harlequins it should be a cracker of a game.

Tomorrow the men’s singles and ladies pairs begin.
