Llandudno Ski & Snowboard Centre, based in North Wales is part of John Nike Leisuresport Ltd. Our facility encompasses a dry ski slope offering skiing, snowboarding, Sno-tubing and tobogganing. The fully licensed bar and restaurant offers an excellent daily menu as well as regular private and public functions. We are looking for a cook to join our team. The right candidate will have experience in a similar role and be up to date on all laws and legislati...on surrounding the sale and consumption of food.
Cook Duties and Responsibilities ŌĆó Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations ŌĆó Preparing ingredients for shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc. ŌĆó Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift ŌĆó Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system ŌĆó Cooking order according to food health and safety standards ŌĆó Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes ŌĆó Handling multiple food orders at one time ŌĆó Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive ŌĆó Dressing order for presentation ŌĆó Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides ŌĆó Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner ŌĆó Storing all food properly ŌĆó Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils ŌĆó Reordering stock and food supplies Cook Requirements and Qualifications ŌĆó Able to work in a fast-paced environment ŌĆó Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently ŌĆó Physical endurance to stand for entire shift (8hours) ŌĆó Self-motivated and self-directed ŌĆó Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks ŌĆó Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders ŌĆó Legally able to work in establishments which serve alcohol ŌĆó Able to work school holidays, nights, and weekends We are offering a fun place to work along with the following benefits:

What a fab santa.... took a visit with my 3 kids and nephew to see santa. Kids loved him and hes the best we have seen for a long time... Then we took them for food. which was actully quiet nice only downfall to it was the amount of salt put on the kids food before it was giving to us

We had a lovely time in SantaŌĆÖs Grotto today, thank you! You have done a great job with the cottage! I donŌĆÖt think you will find a better Santa and Elves!! It was very entertaining and not just for the kids x

This is one of our favourite places to go when we visit Llandudno. The toboggan and sno-tubes are great fun. The views from the lodge are spectacular and we've always found the staff really friendly and helpful...a great way to spend a few hours!

The grotto is magical, Santa was amazing (even i believed for a moment! ’┐Į). The best ive seen by far. Well worth a visit. My daughters absolutely loved it. Well done to you all and thankyou x

The SantaŌĆÖs Grotto was lovely. Santa and the elves put my little boy at ease and he was very chatty with them ’┐ĮOur magical trip to the grotto was followed by a lovely lunch in The Alpine Lodge and some energetic fun on the Sno Tubes! All the staff were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable afternoon all round. Thank you.

Our 2 girls (Maggie & Bethan, ages 5 & 7) had a few tots lessons ahead of our ski holiday to Morzine.

Chris and a Ffion got them prepared perfectly. Thank you to all, you made our holiday as the both were so confident when on the snow and we were all able to relax and enjoy the holiday.

YouŌĆÖll be seeing them again, as this looks like only being the start. ’┐Į

Lovely day here having a ski party for our son and his friends great instructor and canŌĆÖt thank Steve enough for all his help organising. Will defiantly be visiting again.

I had a private lesson for skiing and really enjoyed it. The instructor was great. We started about 15 mins late but that didn't bother me and I was still given the full hour.

Had great fun. Enjoyment for everyone

We had a lovely family day here on Easter Sunday, spoilt somewhat by a woman with a child continually ramming into the back of my Toboggan!! I'm glad my Grandchildren were in front of me because had it been them they'd have been very upset! Otherwise a great time was had very reasonably priced ’┐Į

Really enjoyed the tabogan but had to wait for over 2 hours. Really difficult thing to ask a 7 year old to do. It was Bank Holiday though, perhaps should have restricted to just 1 ride instead of 2 each. Hint for other customers... If queue is beyond wooden fencing, don't bother unless you want 1 hour plus wait. Other than that enjoyed the ride.

ItŌĆÖs goid but it was only ┬Ż5 last year now gone to ┬Ż6.50 per child , not expensive you may think it for agents who have a few kids very expensive

Beautiful location and the views are stunning but very overpriced. ┬Ż6 for two rides on the toboggans and not enough space between riders, my son and daughter ended up crashing into someone/each other at the top and then proceeded down at the pace of a snail. The crazy golf was terrible, it needs a complete refurb, it was impossible to play on. The kids enjoyed their day though, so that's the main thing and the reason I've afforded the review 3* it's ok but could be a lot better given how much of a gold mine it is.

An annual visit yesterday. Place is looking a bit tired these days. Will compare with the Swadlincote Ski Centre when I visit there this week xx

Very disappointing trip, we queued for an hour to go on the toboggan, (told queue was 30-40 mins) an the hour approached and conscious my kids were booked on to a ŌĆśtube sessionŌĆÖ on the ski slope, i approached the guy ŌĆśin chargeŌĆÖ of the Toboggan and queried if I should wait ten more minutes to go on the toboggan (having queued for an hour!) or should I leave the queue to go on the tube session I had pre paid, I was told if I left the Toboggan queue IŌĆÖd have to start to queue again from the end!!!!(which was stoill around an hour!!!!) I opted for the tubes as weŌĆÖd pre booked and asked for my money back on the Toboggan, which I got. But I was left very dissatisfied by this entire visit, they were under staffed, un-organised and we received very poor customer service, I did get my money back but we didnt get a go on the Toboggan!! If they canŌĆÖt handle a average Easter bank holiday crowd goodness knows what a busy weekend is like!! the tobaoggon queues, need sorting, it was chaos and people coming and going from the queued and no idea how long you might wait, on our case it was around 1.15 minutes but we didnt even get a go!!! A complete waste of time, money, effort and two very disappointed kids!!

The grotto is magical, Santa was amazing (even i believed for a moment! ’┐Į). The best ive seen by far. Well worth a visit. My daughters absolutely loved it. Well done to you all and thankyou x

The SantaŌĆÖs Grotto was lovely. Santa and the elves put my little boy at ease and he was very chatty with them ’┐ĮOur magical trip to the grotto was followed by a lovely lunch in The Alpine Lodge and some energetic fun on the Sno Tubes! All the staff were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable afternoon all round. Thank you.

Our 2 girls (Maggie & Bethan, ages 5 & 7) had a few tots lessons ahead of our ski holiday to Morzine.

Chris and a Ffion got them prepared perfectly. Thank you to all, you made our holiday as the both were so confident when on the snow and we were all able to relax and enjoy the holiday.

YouŌĆÖll be seeing them again, as this looks like only being the start. ’┐Į

Lovely day here having a ski party for our son and his friends great instructor and canŌĆÖt thank Steve enough for all his help organising. Will defiantly be visiting again.

I had a private lesson for skiing and really enjoyed it. The instructor was great. We started about 15 mins late but that didn't bother me and I was still given the full hour.

Had great fun. Enjoyment for everyone

Great day out for the kids and adults ...tabogan que bit too long await for me over an hour .....but if you've got a 16yr old to go on with the younger ones your OK ’┐Į

We had a lovely family day here on Easter Sunday, spoilt somewhat by a woman with a child continually ramming into the back of my Toboggan!! I'm glad my Grandchildren were in front of me because had it been them they'd have been very upset! Otherwise a great time was had very reasonably priced ’┐Į

Really enjoyed the tabogan but had to wait for over 2 hours. Really difficult thing to ask a 7 year old to do. It was Bank Holiday though, perhaps should have restricted to just 1 ride instead of 2 each. Hint for other customers... If queue is beyond wooden fencing, don't bother unless you want 1 hour plus wait. Other than that enjoyed the ride.

ItŌĆÖs goid but it was only ┬Ż5 last year now gone to ┬Ż6.50 per child , not expensive you may think it for agents who have a few kids very expensive

Beautiful location and the views are stunning but very overpriced. ┬Ż6 for two rides on the toboggans and not enough space between riders, my son and daughter ended up crashing into someone/each other at the top and then proceeded down at the pace of a snail. The crazy golf was terrible, it needs a complete refurb, it was impossible to play on. The kids enjoyed their day though, so that's the main thing and the reason I've afforded the review 3* it's ok but could be a lot better given how much of a gold mine it is.

An annual visit yesterday. Place is looking a bit tired these days. Will compare with the Swadlincote Ski Centre when I visit there this week xx

Very disappointing trip, we queued for an hour to go on the toboggan, (told queue was 30-40 mins) an the hour approached and conscious my kids were booked on to a ŌĆśtube sessionŌĆÖ on the ski slope, i approached the guy ŌĆśin chargeŌĆÖ of the Toboggan and queried if I should wait ten more minutes to go on the toboggan (having queued for an hour!) or should I leave the queue to go on the tube session I had pre paid, I was told if I left the Toboggan queue IŌĆÖd have to start to queue again from the end!!!!(which was stoill around an hour!!!!) I opted for the tubes as weŌĆÖd pre booked and asked for my money back on the Toboggan, which I got. But I was left very dissatisfied by this entire visit, they were under staffed, un-organised and we received very poor customer service, I did get my money back but we didnt get a go on the Toboggan!! If they canŌĆÖt handle a average Easter bank holiday crowd goodness knows what a busy weekend is like!! the tobaoggon queues, need sorting, it was chaos and people coming and going from the queued and no idea how long you might wait, on our case it was around 1.15 minutes but we didnt even get a go!!! A complete waste of time, money, effort and two very disappointed kids!!
