PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO THE BOY RACER WHO TREATS LLANDYSUL AS HIS OWN RACETRACK.
A while back I was talking to an elderly lady outside of Boots, who told me she was scared to death every tome the moron with the with the loud exhaust goes up the high street late at night and weekends, in fact at 12:20 and 12:40 this morning, Sunday, well before 1am.
Someone knows who he is. here is a message for him.
... YOU are scaring OLD people in this community, stop.
Unlike the elderly lady I am not afraid to get you on video, and report you to the Police.
Your exhaust is illegal, as is your driving, personally I don't care but when a lady in her late years tells me she is scared stiff of the noise of your car enough is enough.
She won't report you as she is scared so I WILL, NO HESITATION and sod the consequences, an elderly lady is more important than a boy racer.
You are on notice.
Your registration is already noted and recordings of your noise made, along with a diary being kept.

Today I have see TWO MORONS yes MORONS, cyclists, cycling the WRONG way down Llandysul high street.
Pedestrians crossing look LEFT for CARS and don't expect MORONS to illegally ride the wrong way. These are NOT tourists.
If I ever catch any on dashcam they will be reported NO hesitation, you would not let a car get away with it, and people HAVE been killed by bike riders.
... These MORONS want to remember the law, AND visually impaired, parents with pushchairs, the elderly and children.

Here is a communication from the Police regarding the speeding in Llandysul
"Residents have expressed concerns regarding is speeding from the lower end of main street and up.
This has been looked into by traffic unit and sadly due to layout of road it’s difficult to have the Go Safe speed van present or make use of community speedwatch.
... As stated there is a PCSO for area but she covers an extensive area and work is being done to have more patrols in the area.
Regards Pc Richards 1010"

More and more people are fitting dash cameras, and some like me tailgating cameras as well. I have had a dashcam for 20 years, since MiniDv cameras, and whilst they can not stop an accident they are 1. Perfect for stopping people tailgating you IF you place them ON the car and not hidden inside the back WITH an appropriate sign on the boot, and 2. Insurance companies are now starting to offer discounts where they are used.
Magnetic Signs are available from Vistaprint for ju...st £10 for an A4
"Tailgating camera, tailgaters are reported"......................... WORKS
BUT.......................
Choosing the right one is not as simple as it sounds, I use only GoPros, why.
99% of the das cameras you buy that are in Halfords etc are either 720HD (Tesco and Argos also), or at best 1080 at 25FPS.
These will NOT capture a licence plate at 50' travelling at speed, also their low light capability is terrible.
Before you buy think about what professional photographers use, GoPro.
Suppliers such as MBP photography who have been around for years have MINT GoPro 4 blacks from £75, these make Halford specials look bad, because
1. Automatic LOW light capability 2. 1080p at 60 FPS allowing capture of faster moving objects clearer 3. 4K at 30FPS, so you don't miss a number plate when needed
Remember to ensure your camera is on NORMAL and not wide setting, it is more than enough to get the whole road and side in and gives a more accurate image.
Cheap cameras £30-£100 are almost not worth it because the video quality is so bad. You may find it ok but when the day comes you NEED the quality it will not be there.
The best camera in Halfords is the 4K BlackVue DR900S-2CH with Rear Dash Cam and 16GB microSD Card, but WHY don't they tell you (no shops do) the FRAME RATE, it is pointless if you are doing 50mph, there is an incident and the camera is only shooting at 12FPS. ALWAYS check the frames per second.
So.............
Get cameras front AND rear Get a sign on the car telling people you have cameras Select the FASTEST frame rate and HIGHEST video quality NEVER less than 2.7K
Finally
Think.................. The camera is ONLY as good as the battery, does the camera you need take extra batteries, built in batteries are totally useless as they need charging, better still as with GoPros simply connect them to the cigarette lighter socket, then they are always on and the battery charging, for the rear camera, Extended life batteries with a larger waterproof back are available for GoPros up to the 4 version, avoid GoPro 5 and above as they dont take external batteries.
See photograph. GOOD cameras like GoPros ONLY up to the 4 NOt the 5s on take external batteries in waterproof housings, lasting up to 12 hours. Ok and don't forget you need a camera that will take up to 128Gb cards, less is pointless.

HELP NEEDED BY LOCAL LLANDYSUL WOMAN RESIDENT.....PLEASE.
CAN I ASK EVERYONE TO PASS THIS ON TO OTHER FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK.
During the period between 23:00 06 May and 0500 07 May 2019, (THIS WEEK) a hit and run driver caused considerable damage to the car she has only had a short time.
... The damage was done by a WHITE car, the owner has part of the car and the paint from the car is on her car.
Imagine how you would feel if this had happened to you.
Does anyone know of a car that has been damaged on the NEAR side / near and front side this week.
If you do than please get in touch, you do NOT have to give your details at all, you can just place an anonymous note at night under the windscreen wiper, so that you know it has been seen a thank you will be posted here.
Many will know the poor woman who works in the Post office at NISA Llandysul
When hit the car was parked where the yellow arrows are, diagonally opposite the Cilgwyn Arms public house.
PLEASE CAN I ASK FOR YOUR HELP, can you please pass this on to friends and help us to find the person responsible so that they can pay for the damage.
Many sincere thanks for your help.
