Llanelli LGBTQ + Support

Providing help, support and a voice for Llanelli's LGBTs.

The project will involve engaging with the LGBT community, increasing volunteers and training people in new skills.

Llanelli LGBT Support will allow the LGBT community to:
· learn how to engage with and record LGBT community problems and successes.
. Help LGBT communities to address their problems and interact with the community
. challenge the perspectives given through more traditional media.

Aims /objectives of the project are:
· Set up a regular drop in session in a safe environment for LGBTs
· give Llanelli LGBTs the ability to comment via all platforms
· Increase LGBT community participation
. Publicise Llanelli LGBT Support via attendance at events
· Up skill LGBT volunteers to raise their employability skills (if required)
· Encourage the LGBT community to engage more effectively with local authorities and organisations to encourage participation and involvement
