Llangorse Lake

Left it too late for a boat trip but enjoyed the walk round the lake. Best done in drier weather lol

Nice place to visit, if you are feeling fit have row on the lake in the summer, or have a leisurely walk around. Beware the cafe is closed on Wednesdays.

Once you turn off the town road into Llangorse Lake you will be greeted with a nice looking Cafe and Camp Shop Building.

The shop is a little pricey for what they sell but its a great addition for the Camp Site Attached to the Park.

The Cafe is reasonably priced and both of which are wheelchair accessible.

The parking is free and plenty of it. Be careful for the beautiful friendly horses that roam on the grass area's.

You can hire paddle boats during sunny days or you can hire a row boat ect... all cheap.

You can take your own boat and launch it for a small fee.

The wildlife is amazing and is a great spot for bird watching and photography

Brilliant place to relax or hire a canoe and have a paddle round the lake they even let you take your own boat/canoe if you want ;-)

Llangorse lake is the largest body of water in South Wales. If you enjoy bird watching then it is the place to visit to see the migratory birds returning to the lake in the spring. There is a beautifully crafted bird hide made by local craft apprentices which is worth a visit in itself. Youcan walk through the meadows to reach it.

Nice lake. You can walk about 1/4 of the way around it through some fields, but it's not actually that close to the lake. There is a bird hide that you can go to. And you can also hire boats.

A nice place to visit. There is a café and boating on the lake. Watching the swans and ducks is entertaining. There are walks to be done, or just relax.
