Llanyrafon Manor

Lovely old building with an.interesting interior (dressed as an ancient manor house), very environmentally friendly. One room is sealed off for bats. Nice cafe with very good cake.

Thank you so much for a lovely Afternoon Tea. 14 people all catered for wonderfully at the Manor. We had a great time and can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely tearoom in an historic setting.

Always a nice place to stop for something to eat

Beautifully maintained and kept manor house, interesting history, lovely little coffee shop on site selling food,drinks and gorgeous homemade cakes

We have passed by this place hundreds of times in the past but today went in and discovered a little gem. We spent half an hour walking around the historic Manor and then had a bite to eat in the Raspberry Tea room.
After confirming the disabled facilities we will be back with the mother in law.

Dont pass by like we did.

Update 2017. Latest visits not so good. The site is run by Torfaen council and the tea room is a concession and this has changed. Ordered a black coffee from a menu that showed a reasonable cup size but cup supplied was smaller.

Had a cream tea with friends. They sat us in one of the old "buttery" room, great setting and the food was fresh and very tasty. The lady was very polite and cheerful. We all enjoyed the experience, will return soon.
