Was told I could sign up online to make appointments but would have to fill in a paper form at the surgery first. Surely this defeats the whole purpose of signing up online.

Waste of time. Cause huge inconvenience. Lose prescriptions. Rude reception.

The service you get when you get to see a doctor is fine, but it is trying to get to see said doctor that's the problem. It seems that people that work aren't catered for or are not expected to need to see the doctor. You have to ring in the morning for an appointment, it's a lottery whether you will get an appointment as the lines are permanently engaged or you are in a queue, the appointments go very quick so if all appointments are gone, you are asked if it is an emergency and if an emergency the doctor will ring you back and give you an emergency appointment. So will need my phone on, which employers are not too happy about. My daughter has been trying to get an appointment for weeks, but she works and is not classed as an emergency. This is why people use accident and emergency unnecessarily. Try to cater for the employed.

I have always had great service from the health centre.I have found the doctors nurses and receptionist all great .I think you get treated as you treat people and I always try and be polite and they have always been polite to me. The level of care is amazing and I have never been let down.Thank you very much Mrs Jean Diane James.
