Great first experience coarse fishing, can't wait to get back!

Nice place but a bit disappointed when we turned up after a 3 hour drive to get a a peg that we had to share after booking 2 pegs 3 weeks earlier .and people just leaving empty bivies on good pegs and not fushobg them all day.will go back again staff fab and tackle shop well equipped

Been fishing the waters for years. the lakes are beautiful, you can never get bored of them. The fishing is good if you approach the waters right. The rewards are there it is just catching them.the staff are always willing to help, they are very friendly. It is a fishery on the rise

absolutely fabulous week friendly staff caught loads of nice carp going again next year would recommend to any keen fishermen or fisherwomen

just got home after spending a week at llyn y gorse,me and my wife (non fisher) been coming here for about 10 years,I had a great weeks fishing and my wife enjoyed the tranquillity of the place,staff once again very helpful,they often stop to have a chat to see how you are doing and giving good info on the swim that you are fishing.I can't understand why people give bad reviews about not catching fish,at this fisheries if you can't catch a fish after three days go on the beginners lake with a few maggots,coz I think you need to go back to basics. The tackle shop is quite impressive,and maggots are fresh,big thumbs up to Nick,he always sorts out any problems with t.v ,heating,£ coins putting bits on my chair etc.we will Deffo be back in September Thanks for everything Alan and Mary

I've just spent another week here in one of the recently refurbished cottages, "Dillydally"' which was very warm and welcoming after a cold and wet day catching Pike on the Old Carp Lake all in all Llyn y gors is a great place to stay with a really good tackle shop onsite. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this place very highly, the lakes can be tough place to catch but that's what it's called fishing and not catching. I can't wait to come back again and catch some more fish.

had another great Sunday on the match lake, winter fishing at its very best. Well over 40lb of Carp, all putting up a fantastic fight, lovely tench and a good 2lb Chubb. No necessity to be a professional angler to catch here, everything pulled out on a size 18 hook, maggot and caster, the occasional Krill micro thrown around the float!! As always great staff, and a cup of tea when you need one! Can not wait to be lakeside next week!!
