Wow what can I say ....Visited here with my daughter today and it was absolutely fantastic....everything was perfect the sandwiches were delicious and the bread was so lovely and fresh every filling was so nice .And the cakes were to die for it was well presented a good price and friendly service ....Best afternoon tea we have had will definitely visit again .

Wow Absolutely amazing , everything is so fresh , I would truly recommend, portion sizes were large , I’d say the best in Maesteg and much better then any competitors, I’ll definitely go back xxx

Went to Lou Chi’s Mother’s Day and was greeted with a drink which we wasn’t expecting but was lovely of them to do that! The high tea was brilliant, the quality of the food was great, we’ve been a few times before and have never had a bad experience! Staff is pleasant and very helpful. For any one hasn’t been before I would highly recommend, u will not be dissapointed. I for one will go again, and thanks to all of the staff that made our Mother’s Day experience a lovely one.👌🏽😘

Took my mother and daughter there again today, it was lovely.The sandwiches have a mixture of fillings you can order and the bread is so fresh , they are beautiful, as for the cakes, they are delicious,the slices are so big, you struggle to eat everything.And tea tastes much nicer in their proper china cups.You can have takeaway boxes to take home.The service was excellent,the staff are friendly. I would recommend going there ,we certainly will be going back.It is well worth the money, very good value for all that you get .

This establishment is perfect for all who likes good food worthy of five star status well done

Organised a royal wedding afternoon tea for my workplace. Thirty people catered for and there were some very fussy demands. Every single one of them couldn’t believe the quality and value for money. Would definitely recommend for any occasion! Awesome xxx

LouChi’s is a real hidden gem and one of the best afternoon teas I have ever had. Sandwiches were large and very fresh and cakes were all beautiful and tasty. I would highly recommend LouChi’s

Great afternoon tea, amazing cakes, and scones! It had the real wow factor. Loved that we could take home what we couldn't manage to finish, loved the kids high tea too: great that the kids could have their own tea much more suited to them, on themed plates. Great value for money! Definitely worth a visit!

Can’t say enough about the staff here they all go out of there way to Please everyone I’ve being going here since it’s opened for sit ins and take aways and now working close by regularly call in the Shop. Food is always faultless and even when so busy they always go out of there way to serve everyone and make sure everything is right for any customer even sometime bring food over to my salon if we are busy when they don’t have too, I couldn’t recommend them all in LouChis enough so hard working and they don’t get enough recognition for it. Amazing Job all xxxx

Best afternoon tea I’ve been to and for the price you really really can’t go wrong. 3 of us went and had loads left over and could take it all home.

Absolutely gorgeous little place..food and service is second to none....can not wait to return .Well done keep up the great work .

The place was rammed and we had to wait even though we had booked. We had to ask for teaspoons and for the children's drinks because none of them were brought out. When the food came out it was very nice and value for money but the service was poor and the girl serving didn't seem bothered at all. Another table that had booked had to wait half hour after they had booked to be seated too. I won't be going back there.

After months of planning we were all excited to go to Lou chies for hen day tea with so much hyp about the food there.first ill say the food was lovely.But and a big but it was a total shambles rammed in to a tiny area,as tables which had been booked and confirmed not ready having to wait 45 minutes to be seated then another 45 minutes to be brought food another ten minutes for an after thought of crisps and a further 20 to be brought cutlery. Then to be told they usually are closed at 4 oclock insinuating it was our fault they were late closing REALLY.i think they need to organise their bookings.But the iceing on the cake infront of 2 elderly customers and 4 young girls was a guy who apparently owed the place told the Hens mum to pay the bastard bill and get out .UNBELIEVABLE disgusting behaviour i have never heard the likes of by and owner of a buisness. There are a lot of people who will not be going back .nobody pays to be spoked to like that.

Visited for Mother's Day afternoon tea and incurred so many issues.

1. Calling to book in & being told they weren't taking bookings & the next day they posted for Mother's Day on facebook

2. They rang me questioning why I hadn't paid a deposit however I hadn't been advised a deposit was required when I booked

3. Turned up & they had given our table to another party so we had to wait while they rearranged

4. Sat down for 30 minutes before someone came to offer drinks

5. Brought the wrong drink out twice

6. Over an hour before any food was brought out.



Once the food arrived it was nice however due to the lack of organisation & customer service I wouldn't return.

Terrible service!!!

New owners boast of a 5 star rating upon complaint of service but fail to mention that these ratings date back to previous owners and do not reflect the service of current management, which couldn't be any further from 5 stars.
