The Three P’s of First Aid. - When dealing with an injured player we have to think to ourselves, what are we trying to do?
In order to help us remember this and keep it simple, we can refer to the Three P’s of first aid.
... The first P is to Preserve Life, can we keep the player alive until the emergencies services or further help arrives.
The second P is to Prevent Deterioration, this may be something as simple as placing a warm blanket over a player on a very cold day to stop them from getting hypothermic.
The last P is to Promote Recovery, is there any way we can make this person feel better. This may be as simple as reducing anxiety. - Let us know if you like this content by liking, commenting and sharing! We want to provide more value for you. - Thank you, Lubas.
