Welcome everyone
I'm a qualified personal trainer, offering one to one personal training session and one to two session for people who would like to train with a friend.

I also run a range of fitness classes and bootcamps, both indoor and outdoor.

I am also starting to run Bootcamp weekends, these are special weekend selected on certain dates. Please keep an eye out.

FITNESS GOALS
I have got 2 ladies that have set goals they would like to reach by September (Are going to reach!!! ūüĎć) Love goal setting.
1 lady would like to train for a 10k race in September and the other lady would like to lose 1stone in 6 weeks.
... Only there hard work and determination will they reach there own goals and of course a genital push in the right direction from myself. ūüėú

Here are my top 5 things to consider if you’re feeling tired all the time...
1. Sleep
Make sure you aim for a minimum of 7 hours sleep per night. If you are struggling with sleep, try removing all caffeine (tea, coffee etc) after 3pm ‚ėēÔłŹ‚ĚĆ
... 2. Stress
Try and reduce your daily stress as much as possible by taking time out to relax, whether that‚Äôs a walk, hot bath, yoga or anything else that helps you to unwind ūüõÄūüßė‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹ
3. Hydration
Dehydration will leave you feel tired and lethargic so it‚Äôs important to remain well hydrated at all times. Aim for a minimum of 1.5 litres of water throughout the day - clear wee is a good sign that you are well hydrated ūüí¶ūüėÜ
4. Nutrition
Poor nutrition can have a big impact on your energy levels so it‚Äôs best to include plenty of nutrient-dense foods in your meals and snacks (meat, poultry, fish, fruit, vegetables, starchy carbs and healthy fats) ūü•©ūüćóūüźüūüćĆūü•íūü•Ēūü•Ď
5. Exercise
Although it sounds counter-intuitive, a lack of physical exercise during the day (including walking) will actually make you feel low on energy.
Try and aim for a minimum of 7500 steps per day as well as 3 exercise sessions per week doing something you enjoy that gets your heart rate up ūüŹÉūüŹĽ‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹūüöīūüŹĽ‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹūüŹäūüŹ Ľ‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹ

A perfect body doesn‚Äôt exist and if you try and chase this goal, you will constantly feel disappointed and unhappy ūüėĒ
Most of the bodies we see on social media or in magazines that we might consider to be perfect are not achievable for 99% of the general population. The images are of people with great genetics or who dedicate their life to the gym and meticulous food tracking. The images are also taken in the best lighting with the best cameras and edited to make them look eve...n better ūüďł
Instead of chasing the perfect body, focus on becoming the best version of you. Work to become a bit leaner, a bit fitter, a bit stronger week by week ūüí™ūüŹĽ
This is something that‚Äôs within your control and before you know it you will have a body that you feel confident in, which is the most important thing! ūüėĀ

‚≠źÔłŹ FOOD VOLUME ‚≠źÔłŹ
It is so important when you are eating in a calorie deficit for fat loss to consider food volume.
You want to include as many 'bang for your buck' foods as possible which have the greatest amount of volume for the least amount of calories (vegetables are top of the pile for this).
... High-volume foods will take up a lot of room in your stomach and keep you fuller for longer, making it much easier to be consistent with your nutrition plan.
This is highlighted in the picture below...
Creme Egg: 180 calories
1 bag of spinach, 1 whole cucumber, 1 pack of tomatoes and 3 whole peppers: 180 calories
This is quite an extreme example but it shows just how much more food you can eat if you consider food volume. Make the high-volume foods taste delicious too and you on to a winner!
