What a beautiful place

We stayed at the beautiful 233 Beach Drive. The holiday home is situated in a lovely spot overlooking the sea with uninterrupted views. The home itself was just fabulous, spotlessly clean and tidy, spacious and lovely furnishings. The decking area is large, plenty of room for our 4 year old Grandaughter to play safely - and the owners were thoughtful enough to make DVD,s and games available if required. Cannot fault the home itself or the location and would definitely like to stay again in this one (by far the best of the caravans we have stayed in,and on a par with the Lodge at Bolands where our first stay was some years ago now!). Worth every penny and it is the caravan, location and contact with the owners which get 5 stars. Other reviewers have mentioned the "Entertainment Passes" and I have to say this is what lets the site down. We paid for 3 passes to gain access to The Manor and Swimming pool. Had to show our passes even when just having a coffee. There was no childrens entertainment on the first night because the England Football game was on. Very disappointed 4 year old who was so looking forward to seeing Rory The Tiger again (and the reason we bought the passes in the first place). I did complain the next day at reception - (was particularly peeved that you cannot eat or drink here without paying for passes). Was not offered a small refund but assured that kids entertainment would be on on Tuesday night. Kids entertainment?! What a joke!!!! Nothing like it has been in previous years. The entertainer was not engaging with the children at all. A complete waste of money. 2 of us went swimming twice. Very expensive swim!!!! Haven really need to rethink this Entertainment Pass idea. It is not on to have to pay to go and spend your money on food and drink. Perhaps offer a discount to pass holders? Have a pay per swim option. The irony was, on our last morning, we went to The Manor for breakfast (which was very good) - and a couple called in for coffee, they did not have passes. They said they were just passing through, and yet they were still able to purchase their drinks! Albeit, the nice chap behind the bar said they would have to wait whilst he sorted out food orders. That was the final insult, they were charged no more for their coffees, even though they did not have passes ! Sorry Lydstep but this system really lets you down.

We recently returned for a week away on lydstep holiday park we had terrible weather but had an amazing time. Our daughter loved the entertainment (even thou some nights there was only 2 children grant still went above and beyond to provide entertainment as he was the only staff working while we was there) the food was great apart from the prawn linguine (prawns had either turned or not cooked right as it made me terribly ill) but the other food we had was fantastic. We can't wait to return in the near future!

First visit and it will not be our last. Stunning site, beautiful beach and amazing caravan (922). Manor House has fab entertainment for kids and adults too. Onsite parks are great too. Food is reasonable price and a very high standard - not to mention all dog friendly

Fantastic and well surpassed our expectations. Not really a caravan holiday fan, but I enjoyed my few days here far more than a holiday in Jamaica with a “renowned luxury brand” which I can’t mention because they gave us compensation for our dreadful experience.

Caravan was well equipped and spotless in an ideal location.

Changed my outlook on caravanning because of lydstep - unforgettable days!

Beautiful holiday park overlooking the bay with it's own private beach.

Staff very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble.

Our accommodation was lovely very comfortable with all you need.Very fortunate with The weather, not a lot to do for small children but plenty to do in the surrounding area.Would certainly come back.

An excellent place for a break or a holiday. The views were amazing and it also had its own private beach. If you didnt know it you would have thought you were somewhere in Greece or Portugal. We dropped lucky with the weather and it was hot and sunny for most of the week but with it being a quieter complex if you had young children and it was raining there is only the indoor pool and a couple of amusements to occupy them. Loads to do in and around Tenby and this complex gives you some ideas of where you can go, we went to the local zoo which was brilliant.

2nd time to visit and can't wait to come back. Stunning site with good facilities.....the children's entertainment staff are the best. Nothing is to much trouble and they remember each child by name...highly recommended x

User

Lovely place but would be much better with a nice beach and if passes weren't so much to buy.x

User

A lovely place to come for a break especially for quietness which I most enjoyed hardly anyone around (but it was the English October half term not for the Welsh kiddie’s though) Over looks their own private beach with some lovely views! Although I will say not much activity on for the children unless you go into their sister Park which is Kilm Park, Tenby 😊.
