We've just got back from our week away staying at the fabulous Lyndon Cottage! It is by far the most equipped cottage we have stayed in. It has a lovely homely feel and is decorated in light colours to give it a light and airy feel. Views of the estuary is stunning especially from the balcony in the master bed room. One of the highlights was relaxing in the evening watching the sun set go down, total Bliss! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have just had a fantastic week in Lyndon cottage. Supremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and stylish, this is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. The bedroom at the rear with sliding doors and a balcony has views of the estuary (see photos) and is provided with comfortable chairs that can be taken out. The high spec binoculars left for bird watching are typical of the many thoughtful touches that the owners have provided. The shower is hot and powerful and beds are extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the open plan ground floor.

The village has an excellent Indian takeaway and an upmarket cafe serving great breakfasts. There is also a fish and chip shop and a Chinese restaurant that we didn't use.

We have just got back from a one week stay at Lyndon Cottage. It is a lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and very well equipped - a real home from home. Nice touches like flowers, a welcome card and essentials like tea, coffee, milk, bread and the bonus of welsh cakes, make you feel very welcome. Plenty of information provided regarding the running of the cottage, so we didn't encounter any problems. The cottage is located in a great position at the end of the village and overlooking the estuary with fantastic views from the rear bedroom. It is a perfect base for exploring the Gower peninsula, Carmarthenshire and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The village of Penclawdd has plenty of amenities - shops, pubs, takeaways, etc. so is very convenient. We had a wonderful week of exploring the area and were very lucky with the weather - sunshine every day and hardly any rain. We are more than happy to highly recommend Lyndon Cottage for a relaxing break away. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here in late October / early November, cannot fault this lovely, well equipped cottage.

Penclawdd. Famed land of cockles and laverbread. From an inlet. With an astonishing tidal range and bio-diversity. Added to the starring list is Lyndon Cottage, a five star home away from home, bang in the middle of Penclawdd and with the most enviable sight lines over the inlet. The cottage itself is equipped to a very high standard with open plan living down stairs that manages to provide every modern comfort without losing the heart of the cottage which is its heritage. Top tip. Try and get the double bedroom with the huge balcony that gives you the perfect vista across the inlet. Bring your binoculars, a bottle of wine and a warm jacket and you will be in twitching heaven with all manner of waders, ducks and wild fowl on show at low tide. Then check out the inlet when the tide is in as the huge inlet fills up from the sea with the second largest tidal range in the world. Outside the cottage there is off road parking for two cars and a more than modest landscaped garden for that perfect cocktail or sundowner. Penclawdd is the perfect base for your South Wales vacation, with the world class beaches of the Gower Peninsula just a few miles away. The local area has a number of excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants with good food competing with glorious local real ales. Location, location, location they say. Lyndon Cottage in Penclawdd has these three wise men in spades. Oh. And don't get me started on the freshly made and complimentary Welsh cakes that serenade and tempt you in the kitchen as you arrive on your holiday. Class. Highly Recommended.

Had an amazing stay with my husband and our 2 young children and inlaws over Easter week. Lyndon Cottage is a truly beautiful home from home with everything you could want/need for a relaxing stay. When we arrived at the cottage we were left a bottle of wine, bread, milk, fresh flowers, homemade welsh cakes and chocolate bunnies for the children this was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The cottage is of a very high standard and beautifully decorated. It has a stunning balcony and outdoor area to watch the sunsets and tide coming in and out. Excellent location with just a short drive to many wonderful beaches and local attractions.

Can't wait to book our next stay!!!

Many Thanks
