We stayed 1 night with breakfast the following morning. On arrival we was met by a lovely friendly lady who was very chatty and welcoming. Our room was really nice with complimentary tea and coffee, TV, hairdryer and an ironing board.

Breakfast was lovely. Fruit juice, cereals hot drinks and a full english breakfast.

All staff really friendly, we will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely meal. I had lovely prawn cocktail starter and scampi for main which was also very very nice. My husband really enjoyed carvery and the kids also fully enjoyed their meals. Felt like being at master chef with the way our food was presented and tasted. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely staff. It been about 14 years ago that I have been here last time. Iam planning my next visit definitely in the next 14 days , great place!

User

Thank you for my lovely meal I won in your competition the food was lovely and so was the staff a lovely place to eat xx

User

I won the burger meal for 2 on here and went Friday with my friend and have to say everything was perfect. After just expecting a simple single burger I was stunned to be presented with their fully loaded. After I'd put my eyes back in my head I tucked in. I hated that I cos not finish it all but it was fab...huge compliments to the chef. We will definately come again.

User

I went there on Tuesday evening the meal was excellent well presented and very tasty, the staff were warm welcoming and friendly the management was first class and service on the whole was 5* very good value for money. Will be back again

User

Greeted with a smile and left after a handshake from the Manager.

A place of fine dining and respectful friendly Staff.

Great food. Great service, and all set in a picturesque area.

We'll worth a re-visit at some point

User

Five of us went for a meal on Sunday. Was the first time we had visited the Nant hall.the food was great and the staff were very helpful and polite would definitely recommend

User

Booked a table for 30 for Sunday lunch for my dad's 60th birthday. Julie went above and beyond for us, the table and surrounding area was decorated lovely, she came over to us numerous times to see if we were ok, nothing was too much trouble. And because we were such a big table she even made sure 5mins before we went for food that new fresh food was brought out for us. The manager even came over and wished my dad a happy birthday and went to the trouble of buying him a drink, brilliant service! The food was outstanding and everyone agreed, will definitely come back here and will definitely be recommending.

User

Tried the Nant after a while away because it wasn’t so good last summer. Very pleasantly surprised at the new management and the welcome we received today.. Great to have a warm welcome from Julie who looked after us like royalty, thank you Julie - it’s always been the staff and the personal touch at the Nant that have made the difference and it was so nice to have Julie looking after us today.

Food was great, far too much to eat - as it should be. Nothing was too much trouble, delighted the Nant is on the way back to the standard it was, looking forward to seeing how this pans out over the summer - hopefully this standard will continue and we will again spend many a happy afternoon at the Nant, no more plastic slushy cups like last year! Thanks for a great day

Would not recommend to go for a meal. Ten adults with children organised surprise party, the birthday surprise girl sent the peri peri chicken back as it smelt off, the steak, the pork and the lamb cutlets were all over cooked. The babies changing room mat was filthy black when wiped with a cleansing wipe. Great park for kids and not too expensive on meal or drinks but I would never return again.

User

Went for family meal today with my husband and kids..we are just on holiday for one week...Ordered steak and specifically outlined for it to be well done... it came out almost completely raw with the blood running from it.. disgusting.. staff were not helpful as they said the rest of the food that came with steak was half eating...(few chips & peas) so nothing was done for us. We just paid in full and left unhappy and hungry.. with kids asking why was our food bleeding? ... being 23 weeks pregnant and feeling completely discusted...

User

We had a nice welcome on arrival went for carvery the meat was very tasty but the vegetables were cold so I didn’t eat mine a young lad clearing tables apologised for the lack of heat decided to try the sticky toffee pudding I assume it was a manager that asked if it was ok I explained I didn’t think it went well with chocolate ice cream his answer was “ well that’s how we always serve it and your the only one to complain “ not really what I expected or accept I have worked in the service industry and that is definitely not good service not even close the pleasant greeting by the lady on duty and a youngster cleaning tables is the only reason I didn’t give less

User

The meal was lovely. Service not good my partner had finished his meal I was still eating mine and the bar man came over and took my partners plate, then asked me if I had finished. I had food still on my plate I was holding a fork in my hand. No I said he apologised and took my partners plate. Only then out of my amazement another chap came and asked if I had finished. Clearly not but it made me feel that uncomfortable that I said yes he took my half eaten meal away. Manager was been bossy to staff members so I didn’t say anything as I felt they were under a lot of stress already

User

no star rating very disappointing girls from Marks and Spencer spent an average of £12,50 on afternoon tea not worth it would not recommend it to anyone lost out on business

User

Would not recommend this place to anyone it as to be the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to book for a meal it was supposed to be a nice evening out for my daughters 9th birthday it was a day I will remember for all the wrong reasons

We phoned in the morning to book a table for 7pm on arrival at 6.50pm they did not have are name or booking even tho we had told them this on the phone the staff just looked at one another with blank expressions and this was just the start

They finally found us a table 10 minutes later as we were shown to are table and left there for 20 minutes without being given a menu or asked would we like to order drinks in the end my wife had to get up and ask one of the staff could we have a menu after we chose what we was all going to have to eat we had to get up again and tell the waiter that we was ready to order

When the food did arrive it was look warm and pretty much average (nothing special) I could go on but I think I've said enough

User

Went as part of a family group on Saturday evening.

After being crammed into a table for six that was way too big for the fixed seating area it was placed in (with seating for four), we sat for a long time with one menu between the six of us, until eventually a waiter rocked up with two more menus, thereby reducing the figures from 6/1 to 2/1. A start, but not a good one.

Things didn't really improve when 2 of us had their orders for seabass accepted, only for the waiter to come back 5 mins later to tell us they had none. Surely the staff should be aware of items that are off the menu before taking orders?

Then the food arrived.

2 members of our group ordered steaks - One ribeye, rare and one rump, medium.

Not rocket science.

The ribeye could have been brought back to life with a decent vet and the rump was magically transformed into a sirloin.

To cap it all, the waiters had no idea which steak was which, which table they were aimed at or how they were cooked.

The mushroom stroganoff was swimming in orange oil(?), the haddock was lukewarm, the ribs were tough.

On the upside, the vinegar was nice.......

The only thing they didn't make a mess of was the bill (funny, that...)

User

Very poor service went for food but has they had a wedding I was first told food in 20 mins to half an hour then 5 minutes later I was told no food as they had a big wedding and a birthday party on. They were happy to take nearly £10 for two drinks but then told no food. Not happy !!!

User

The Manager Keith Wilson is an absolute joke whilst two families fought on the next table to us, throwing prams, booting cars, screaming abuse he didn't even ask if we was ok. He'd had our money for food 8 meals ,what did he care. When I approached him he was just as rude as the people fighting. We had two disabled people with us and no offer to move from any of the staff.

User

Poor is actually an understatement, there is no option for minus though.

Visited here whilst staying in Prestatyn, from the outside it looked so promising, big hall, big grounds. Inside the decor is nice.

Then it went downhill.

They found a table for 9 pretty quickly, we had missed the carvery so opted for the 2 steaks for £25. Looked under the table and found a carrot and a knife, nice. Icked them up and placed on a nearby table, still there when we left.

Ordering the meals, the lady serving looked as happy as a bulldog sat on a pile of nettles chewing a wasp. Asked for a well-done steak, a medium steak and ordered kids meals along with drinks. They didn't,t have the wine I requested and after asking three times finally found a bottle of red wine.

One blackcurrant drink was so weak it looked like flavoured water, my 10-year-old went back to the bar to ask for a little more juice in, came back to the table and said the serving lady muttered 'oh my god' under her breath. Maybe she needs a customer service course? Especially when the little girl was polite, the little girl has also had 3 open heart surgeries and a stroke and can still be pleasant.

The steaks, well, imagine when you're having a barbecue, you leave the steaks till the end and then forget about them and it becomes burnt and crispy? That was the well done one.

The medium one? On cutting it became apparent it just needed a jolt from a defib to have it running around a field again.

The staff all look like they'd rather be sat at home watching Jezza than serving you.

So swerve, make it a big swerve!
