User

spent two great days at the touring sight fantastic break .very friendly people. loved it here' booked again for a week bank holiday can t wait to go back xx see you s all soon

User

You will find it hard to find a more friendly site. The staff go out off their way to ensure your stay is the best. The ground is hard, being in touching distance of the mountain, so good strong tent pegs are essential

Entertainment is usually to a high standard. Toilet blocks could do with updating. Looking forward to my next visit

User

This is a great family orientated site and the club has excellent acts of a weekend, a fun little club room for kids, a snooker room, bouncy castle, a two minute walk to the beach, or a nice stroll up the surrounding mountains with easy access for cars for people who find it difficult to climb, they have a site for hiring static caravans or separate site for touring caravans with hook ups and plenty of space for tents, fires allowed , clean shower rooms and laundry room, all this in one compact friendly area, the shops are a couple of minutes away, and buses every fifteen minutes to take you to Conway, Llandudno, Bangor and other areas at £5:50 day saver tickets, so you could go to Bangor in the morning and Llandudno in the afternoon, also easy to get to by car, the beach is cobbles in some areas so good for rock pools and small sea life, but mainly golden sand, plus you can walk from penmaenmauw to Conway along the beach, and if the tide is in you can walk along the path along the coast, I've been going for years and never get fed up, always looking forward to going back.

User

User

User

Brilliant cant wait to buy a holiday home here and be here all the time

User

Stayed for a girlie weekend just gone. Brilliant Time, the staff were very welcoming, we arrived late on Friday and as the shop was shut we was given baps, marg and milk for the morning.

Ben the barman offered his birthday cake and we all had a good laugh with them.

On the Sunday when we should have been leaving at 10am we asked if it was okay to leave just after lunch time, we was willing to pay but they let us stay till 2 with no charge.

Fab, we will most definitly be back :)

User

Not bad, toilets need upgrading but then you do get what you pay for, 3 nights camping for 4 of us in school holidays for £51 with electric hook-up!! Nice site, bit hilly as it's at the foot of a mountain watch out for rocks - tent pegs and rocks don't mix, but great views, especially if you watch the sunset from the bar terrace. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Met some lovely people, and avoided the less lovely. Would go again.

User

Lovely campsite. Quiet and close to local shops and Conwy town. Will definately visit again. Nice friendly bar on site. My only criticism would be the toilet block along with everyone else, unfortunately on a bank holiday weekend the loo rolls and paper hand towels weren't replenished and had run out by the saturday evening, a sign states checked daily but clearly this isnt the case. Some of the stalls didnt have locks or working lights either. The toilets are the only thing that lets this lovely site down.

User

Lovely site. Well worth a visit. Can't wait until my next visit. Fingers cross that the weather will be good

Well ive just returned from my eagerly awaited visit. Yes it rained in the morning but then glorious sunshine after lunch. Lyons I can not complain to you about the weather, however I must complain about the toilet block. Damaged and loose toilet seats. The toilet roll holder broken off the wall and just left on the floor. No paper towels, I assume like me, most people wash their hands following a visit. No hooks to to pin up your washing kit. Come on please, you can do better

User

Been coming here for over 30 years lots of lovely memories...Small friendly and relaxed place ..love watching the Sunset from balcony at the country hall..lovely accommodating staff😊

User

Site should not run out of gas on the first bank holiday of the year, get a grip Lyons

User

What can I say it's a beautiful location and a wonderful site, a shame about the toilet/showers they were absolutely disgusting. Don't think they been cleaned in weeks. Could not use them 😞☹️

User

Very disappointed again regarding the upkeep of the site. Running out of gas on one of the busiest weekends of the year is just not acceptable. A very serious situation for some residents on site!

User

Such a shame. This site has so much to offer, in a great location with a stunning backdrop in the touring field, unfortunately the toilet/shower blocks are dreadful. Never have I had to endure such disgusting facilities. Showers covered in mould, broken tiles and lights only activate in shower when shower is on! Toilets covered in excrement and floor cleaned with filthy mop kept in dirty water. On complaining I was told the manager and cleaner both were on a day off! Although we couldn't tell if the cleaner had ever had a day on!!! Disappointing as we spent a weeks holiday here which we had been looking forward to. Was expecting so much more from a Lyons site.

User

Site ran out of gas last night despite everyone’s pleas to sort out the pressure yesterday and to be told there was plenty of gas!! No heating, no hot water and no cooking facilities. Very disappointed Lyons !!

User

Running out of gas on bank holiday weekends seems to a regular occurrence. Each time it happens we are promised it will never happen again. To make matters worse when we got up this morning there was no electric either. Van was freezing.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH LYONS - GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.
