Well just come back from having a fab 4th year visit, loved it yet again only thing was way to hot in the club at night and has there is 4 family lots of us we found the new table arrangements a bit tricky but other than that fab place and fab entertainment xx hopefully be making out 5th visit next year xx

We stayed a 4 night stay at the park at the beginning of June after staying at many parks all over Wales I’m happy to say this park came in with those I say are the best , so much for the kids to do along with adults the food in sherwoods bar was lovely we also ate out of milos diner which was also nice the pool area was spotless along with the entire holiday park which was well maintained, the entertainment team worked so hard to keep all of the children happy they deserve some extra credit ,the beach right facing is a added bonus we vlogged most of the holiday on our yt channel and already recommended the park to so many people who say it looks fantastic and we made so many amazing memories and can’t wait to come back for another visit I highly recommend the park �

We loved our first stay at Lyons Robin Hood over Easter weekend, my son didn't want to leave. Easy, friendly check-in, any problems resolved quickly. The star rangers were excellent, they work so hard and keep the kids entertained all day & night with a great range of activities. Food in the sports bar was lovely, we enjoyed carvery & breakfast. Only negative point is no out of hours maintenance service. Overall a great fun filled stay, we will definitely be back soon. Thankyou.

We have stayed in tonnes of caravan parks over years but this one beats them all hands down, staff are amazing, they go to so much effort for the kids club, we have all had an amazing time, park is lovely and clean and absolutely tonnes for all ages to do, loved it that much we booked for next year after 3 days of being here, thanks so much for an amazing holiday we will never forget

Me & my 4 year old daughter got back from here last Friday, we picked a fab week, amazing weather each day & super quiet on the park. We had the swimming pool to ourselves one morning & the bouncy castle too. The entertainers were great, Isabella loved bubbles, wish, lulu & adam apple. The characters were fab too, hetty, leo & mylo. She won prizes every night & joined in with the bingo and other games. I used to come here as a child so it was pleasure to now be able to bring my own little one. I was shocked at some of the reviews on here. Our chalet was super spacious and for what we paid through sun holidays to come I was so pleased. All in all a great week, we will definately be back!! xxx

Just got back from a 3 night break & after reading some of the reviews I was abit devious about going, but we had such a good time! First time visiting wales & I look forward to going again.

The caravan was basic but very clean & tidy. Had no problems what's so ever!

I currently have one sad little boy.. because he has had to come home from Lyons Robin Hood. I cannot praise Lyons enough for a wonderful weekend filled with lots of memorys. The wonderful friendly staff espically rhe security team and the entertainment staff. My little boy took a big shine to Bubbles and Lulu and he misses them already. The lady on the outside small bar and the coffee shop. We stayed in a Chalet for our stay and prior to reading some bad reviews online we were so pleasantly surpised.. the chalet was spacious and clean and had a generous kitchen/bathroom area and 2 good size bedrooms and the cuboards were well equipped with plates/cups/bowls and cuterly. The onsite shop had a fab selection of food and anything you need.. and on the park itself there was always so much to do, the entertainment was brilliant (espically the children's entertainment team) even when the owners evening was on in the main bar, the replacement entertainment in Sherwoods was excellent. The close proximity to the beach meant we spent our last evening watching the sun set before heading back to end a wonderful holiday. Thanks again to Lyons and the staff. We're already on count down to coming back next year!

A great place for young children my grandchildren loved the entertainment something for everyone on the camp the beech so close and 10 mins to Tesco or asda ideal family holiday and lots of places to visit close

Overall we had a fab holiday only problem was this is the 2nd time we have been and there has been a problem with the pool...My son has conjunctivitis now because of the high chlorine levels and my eyes were stinging and incident even go in...Secondly the larger pool was closed and u had to wait for someone to cone out before u could go in..which when you have 3 young children waiting for an hour isn't good and then we had to get out an hour later as it was closed for lunch only to have to wait again for 45mins when we returned at 1.30pm. Apart from that we enjoyed our holiday and would return but this problem needs sorting.

Just come back from a weekend away it was fantastic the entertainers are brilliant and work hard to keep the kids entertained the ragers are amazing only one thing the music needs to be alittle different each night maybe play a few songs like hockey cokey and head shoulders knees and toes just a few gor the little little ones. Ive got a 14mth old and she enjoyed the soft play area and swimming although i feel there needs to be more baby changing areas or family changing areas in the swimming pool as there is only one in the ladys changing room which isnt really safe as it leans and with a 14 mth old it can be challenging when trying to get dressed urself and no where to put them not only that my partner cant take her swimming on his own has theres no changing area for them to change. My little girl enjoyed the soft play but enjoys being outside but the park is aimed at bigger kids could do with a under 5s play area outside with swings and things. The machines in the arcade need to be looked at more as we played a few and they didnt work and maybe a few little rides for under 5s would be good. but really enjoy coming to the sight its our second time there and we will be coming back as my little girl enjoyed it. Brilliant site

Got back yesterday From a great weekend the enterment was great something to do during the day and night really enjoyed the blue team and orange team games I was blue team lol what I would say is it be a good idea to give wrist bands out and put around the wrist with the children name and contact number incase the child goes missing as my child do and we find him in the arcade bit � but other then that we had a great time and we will return

Overall we had a good time and there was plenty to do for our little girl. On arrival the lady at reception was lovely and very helpful. When we got to our caravan there was a fault, which was fixed within half an hour of reporting it.

We only stayed for an hour each night for the entertainment. My daughter really enjoyed this. Myself and partner wasn’t too keen on the bar, very hot and stuffy! Warm and overpriced drinks. Bag searches, I understand why these are carried out and had no problem with this been done, however I didn’t like it! A majority of people can be trusted not to sneak beer in, you had to sign a pointless piece of paper aswell (no name, caravan number etc, you could’ve signed it Mickey Mouse and no one would’ve known)

Pool staff not very helpful and changing rooms filthy. On one occasion a man got changed by the poolside under a towel and no one said a thing (god help us if his towel had fell down)

Chippy on site could do with a little improvement aswell.

Overall it wasn’t too bad, just a few things. I would try again and hopefully next time I could score you a 5/5!

There's no heating in the damp and mouldy caravan. There is no hot water. So we can't shower. We can only wash or clean plates if we boil the kettle. We have to walk through a pool of water 2 inches deep and which surrounds the caravan whenever we leave. Clothes are damp inside. Clothes are wet and muddy if we leave. The tv has 3 working channels with poor signal. The kind of people sat in the entertainment area in the evening are the kind of people you normally cross the road to avoid. Waste of money. Do not bother-this place is awful.

Lovely caravan only stayed one night as of vile people staying either end of us . Security came out at 3 still noisey at 4. Receptions said that's what you have to expect for a bank holiday. I know it's not the staffs fault but didn't even offer us a replacement or have a word with the scumbags . Never again....

Didn’t even get to the stage of buying a caravan sent a deposit (£500) which I got promised was fully refundable if we decided to not go ahead with the caravan, 3 weeks later numerous phone calls, messages and now emails and still no refund back, nobody returns your calls and the sales team just skirt around the subject and make false promises! Absolutely disgusting service glad we didn’t actually buy a van on here!!!!

Currently in an under 5’s area where parents have dumped there over 5’s whilst at the bar. Not fair and staff do try when you kick off but within a second they are back on. Should be manned at high season!

Stayed Easter weekend. Caravan freezing cold. Electric kept tripping electric off all over park. No heating ect. Park dirty rubbish all over. Most amusing bit of the amusements was nothing worked, asked the attendant 6 times to get my little ones money out of machines. Foresters zero room to swing a cat (over sell passes) because you can not get in anywhere. Charged different prices for same drinks twice! Toilets filthy, not checked. Obviously this is an out line, my full complaint went to customer services(joy) who seems to think we got excellent value for money (funny her). Under 5s area with kids bigger than me jumping all over. I understand, it’s not Lyons job to watch other people’s children, but it’s also not mine to tell people to control their kids, it’s not my job to keep telling attendant machines need fixes or to tell maintenance about electric or jobs that need doing in park.



Could leave a zero star so left a one but place is a scruffy rough shit hole
