I started my shop in mid 2013 but I didn't stock it until Jan 2014, it took a while to get ready. . . It took some courage to offer my work for sale but I am so glad I took that first step.
I began making my handmade 3D journals in November that year and after perfecting the technique these were the first items I showcased on etsy.
Things have progressed now to offering a wide range of items made using iridescent acetate, from jewellery to dragon sculptures. This combines my love of colour and transparency. My work is always evolving and I really love trying new materials and techniques.
Before that I was paper cutting, more as art therapy than a hobby.
I've since increased my product range to include faerie and dragon inspired jewellery, wearable wings, headdresses and papercutting templates from my original paper cut designs, which were hand drawn so the conversion process is involved : )
Being in beautiful Wales this seemed a natural step to have dragons feature in my work.
I love learning and trying new crafts and developing interesting pieces that bring ideas to reality so my etsy products will grow and develop in scope.
