Love this place for lunch. Lovely Welsh rarebit and good service.

The food is always amazing. It's so cosy & the room always smells incredible. Such a nice atmosphere as well! Love love love!

Strongly recommend. Everything is outstanding in Madam Fromage. The menu is a mouthwatering assortment of welsh and french bistro dishes with fresh ingredientes of the best quality and great value for money.. French fougasse, Lamb cawl with caerphilly cheese, halloumi and chorizo salad, welsh rarebit and baked camembert are classic favourites but there is always something different and original in the daily specials. The service is excellent and the staff cannot be nicer!. The plates abundant and enticingly presented.....The coffe and cakes are superb and you will not find better cheese anywhere in Wales!. To top up, the ambience is cosy with lot of personality and attention to detail. A unique place that you will want to come back again and again..

Fantastic selection of cheeses that varies depending on the month. Guys here are also very knowledgeable. Ideal for lunch as they give good sized portions for reasonable prices. If you are lucky you also might be able to get yourself on one of their Cheese and Wine tasting nights, which are superb.

Great selection of cheeses, both British and foreign, with friendly and knowledge staff. The cake selection looked fantastic to, but I can't comment on their taste as I was only there for the cheese! 🧀

This is the jewel in the unique myriad of attractions that Cardiff's arcades offer.
My wife and I have lunch regularly, and just because we are addicted to their sublime goat's cheese salad, so order it every time, the menu stretches way beyond cheese!
The seasonal specials board is wonderfully varied.

We like to pay a special Xmas visit to the cheese counter to indulge in the local and international wonders on offer.

Finally a last mention for Steve and the rest off the staff at this family run charm of a place.....they are so attentive to your needs, yet informal, extremely knowledgeable and very amiable.

I buy most of my cheeses and deli products at Madame Fromage the selection of goods is amazing and I can guarantee that if you are planning to try out a recipe with an unusual cheese, you will be very likely to find it there
