FRIDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER Moonshine and Gin night 7:30pm-10:45pm... Arrival drink, canapés, cheese/moonshine/gin tasting, 2 glasses of wine per person, buffet. £30pp
FRIDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER Moonshine and Gin night 7:30pm-10:45pm Arrival drink, canapés, cheese/moonshine/gin tasting, 2 glasses of wine per person, buffet. £30pp
THURSDAY 15TH NOVEMBER Beaujolais night 7:30pm-10:45pm Arrival drink, canapés, French cheese and wine tasting, 2 glasses of beaujolais wine per person, Boeuf Bourguignon, Dessert. £35pp
Bookings by phone or at the door. £10 pp deposit required. There will be October dates to come but lots of enquiries regarding beaujolais hence why released now.

Few updates for you...
Cheese Fowlers XX mature cheddar is back in stock after a small delivery problem. Should be back to normal now. Gorgonzola soaked in smoked water and coated in lapsang souchang tea is festering as we speak... Should be ready in a few days.... Triple cream cheese in chilli jam will be back in by end of week.
Ed We are taking reservations for the Ed sheeran concert days. Saturday is starting to fill up on reservations but will still be plenty of walk in opportunities. Other days looking okay as of now. We will be open on Sunday as well.

Wow! Just been to the gin and cheese night! Fantastic food, the canapés were just something else, the cheese and gin were fun, as was the quiz and the food afterwards was just devine! Absolutely fantastic evening! Thank you! ��

What an amazing lunch me and my mum had today! We had the sharing mixed tapas plate which was jam packed will gorgeous cheese and meats & we had Provençal soup which was to die for! Staff were very friendly & pleasant, cant wait to return! Thank you x

We visit Madame Fromage every time we visit our daughter in Cardiff. Our favourite place to have lunch! Fresh ingredients, large portions and fabulous service! Keep up the good work! We always buy cheese to take back to Kent too.

My 5 star review is not for the Madame Fromage business itself but for the humanity of their staff (or perhaps the owners) that I witnessed today.

You took the time to stop and help a poor young lady who had collapsed in the middle of a road in Cardiff today. I’m sure that you were in the middle of a busy working day but you immediately pulled over your vehicle and went to the girls aid. Every other vehicle just drove around the poor girls prone form, had a gawp and carried on regardless. You stayed until the emergency services (who were remarkably quick) arrived.

Luckily the young woman was quickly back on her feet and in the care of paramedics.

Well done to you and also to the cyclist who stopped.

I’ll be coming in to the shop the next time i get a chance too. Thank you.

Just had my favourite dish again. Cheesy garlic mushrooms, with a side salad and fresh bread to mop up the juice. Oh my, oh my ! So good ! Asked for it last week but they were out of mushrooms. Thank goodness they had them this time. Delicious !

I went to the cheese & wine evening last night with 7 other friends and it was really great from start to finish. Lovely canapés to start, great selection of cheeses & wine for the tasting. The guy hosting was really great and funny and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. All finished with a lovely buffet. Definitely recommend people pay them visit!

I was at Madame Fromage yesterday for my annual visit. I love it here. The food is delicious and the selection so wide it’s difficult to choose what to eat. I had the mini mixed platter and it was fabulous and my children aged 5 and 6 enjoyed their sweet potato soup and fresh bread immensely. Will definitely be back again.

I visited with my daughter for a belated Mother’s Day treat. What a fabulous find!! The aromas of the foods were tantalising alone, but when my “lamb cawl special” arrived, it was everything and more. Absolutely first class! We had a bottle of wine as well and the bill was perfectly within my daughters budget. Welcoming chilled atmosphere too.

I’m taking my husband there next time! I’ll definitely recommend to friends.

Had the cheeseboard and the tartlette with salad.Very prompt service and generous portions.Lovely fresh bread with both meals and 7 different cheeses on the cheeseboard with apple and orange slices and a nice chutney.We would highly recommend this cafe to anyone.The meal was sublime and we purchased some of the cheeses that we had on the cheeseboard from the cheese counter afterwards.

Had the Welsh Rarebit and my dad had the mini mixed platter. Food was gorgeous and portions generous. Staff absolutely lovely we will definitely return!

Had a great lunch, lovely food plenty of it and the staff were brilliant, very friendly nothing to much trouble, eaten there twice now and definitely go again. Would highly recommend ��

Great service was still very busy at 4 pm. It was worth the wait for our Welsh Rarebit. Delicious and the helping was huge. Deffinatley worth a visit

Another gorgeous lunch here yesterday, ham, leek & Caerphilly cheese tartlet, caramelised red onion chutney with lovely fresh salad & scummy bread with butter. I also bought their olive bread and their carrot & pineapple cake which were both delish! I dined alone and had a short wait for a table but I would rather wait, knowing I'd have a lovely lunch than go elsewhere and end up disappointed. The service was great as always. X

Absolutely fantastic evening at the cheese and wine event tonight. Generous portions, delicious offerings, fantastic atmosphere... what more could you want on a Friday evening?! Wonderful staff too. Thanks so much. We’ll definitely return.
