always have great food and great service here one of my favourite places to eat

We had a team lunch here today and I was very impressed. There was a warm welcome, efficient service and beautifully cooked food. The staff dealt brilliantly with my special diet! Will definitely return!

Warm friendly atmosphere with a very traditional feel. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Food is absolutely fabulous. Hot, tasty and well presented. You have to try the espatadas. Definitely mention any birthdays etc... they have a very fun and novel little surprise!!

This is my favourite restaurant whether you choose the lunch or evening menu the food is always fantastic and the staff are so friendly and attentive

Myself and my partner along with another 13 people came for birthday meal, we all selected the 2 course set menu, I had sardines starter which was divine and my GF she had the pate, for mains we both had the salmon in garlic sauce with roast potatoes, peas and there was cauliflower in batter, cannot fault the meal, look forward to coming back again.

My husband took me and the family for my birthday, food was excellent as usual also the service, will go again.

Love this place..book a table for 15 sat with kids for my husband birthday and the staff were so accommodating and never shown signs off being rush off thier feet and gave us 100% service nothing too much for them at all..5* and more thankyou food lush as always ’┐Į

It was like being back Madeira. Food was fantastic. The drink we had was very good and well priced. The service was very grand everyone was so friendly. This is a place I would definitely return to.

I was really pleased this evening, as the restaurant is known for serving a lot of meat and fish I didn't know what to expect as a new vegan. They managed to whip me up a lush meal that wasn't on the menu, thanks guys it's really appreciated :)

First time at the Madeira - what a fun experience! Authentic in every way -helpful, friendly staff even tho' the restaurant was packed all night. Great food, both meat and fish, decent house wine and all good value for money. Great buzz, lots of traditional birthday interventions - not for your quiet evening out on a Saturday night but I imagine quieter on a wek night.

Fantastic food staff were really friendly and the price of the whole thing was spot on , will definitely come back

Every time we have a meal here we have never been let down. The staff make you feel so well come. The price of the food is a bargain for the quantity and quality. I recommend the piri piri king prawns for starters and the tea bone for main. As for the deep fried cauliflower,,, well you just have to book a table and taste that for yourselves. X’┐Į

Came here as a party of 32 yesterday, we were all served together, food was piping hot and absolutely gorgeous. I had the sirloin steak and it was so tender it was like butter, absolutely beautiful. No complaints from anyone out of all 32 of us a really lovely afternoon. Would definitely recommend.
