Yesterday we had our amazing wedding here from bridal prep to evening reception, Amanda has been amazing with us from start to finish, she ensured our day went as planned and was with us every step of the way! Everything was perfect and couldn’t have wished for a better venue with amazing staff. I’m gutted the day is over but we have the best memories to take home with us, thank you so much Amanda and team xx

What can I say we had are wedding there and the staff could not help us enough everything was done brillianty everyone had a amazing time and it could not of happen without all the hard work the staff put in from start to finish could not ask for more 5 stars

Went up on Wednesday for a picnic bench lunch! It was amazing. Well worth the price and delicious too! Looked just the same as the advertising.

Took a trek in the snow today to get to the Maes, as both my sons work there and they got snowed in last night after their shift. By the time we got there with rucksacks full of walking boots and winter gear to get them home, we were starving, so we decided to stay for lunch after making the effort to get there. I’ve never had Sunday lunch at the MM, considering I’ve lived near it for over 20 years. It didn’t disappoint. Good value for money, the ‘home made’ roasties and Yorkshire puddings were gorgeous. Huge dishes of veg and all piping hot. Plenty of gravy and lovely starters too. Stick a fork in me, I’m done. �

Thank you for our lovely picnic bench afternoon tea today. The service we had was fantastic! We would definitely recommend this to everyone. The setting is lovely with great views as well as lovely food. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name of the person that served us but he was great, recommending the gins on the menu to try. Thanks again we’ll definitely be back �

Stayed for the weekend in the Coach Houses, lovely place with great staff ...I cannot emphasize enough how great the staff are. The Bars have an excellent choice of drinks, & yet again great bar staff. The only thing I would change, would be darker curtains, broad daylight in our room as soon as the Sun came up. Overall a great place to Stay.

My son Conor and our daughter-in-law Hollie chose Maes Manor as their wedding venue after after visiting and falling in love with the beautiful setting and warm welcome from your staff.

Their wedding on Friday 1st June was a wonderful day from start to finish. You all worked extremely hard to make sure their day went as smoothly as possible.

Had a beautiful meal for valentines night... food was stunning... the room looked amazing... staff made our night very special... will definitely be coming back... would highly recommend the food it was gorgeous... thank you for making our evening very special

We were so happy with Amanda and Dan's performance they both as Well as the staff work bloody hard there they deserve a pay rise all of them. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day perfect. We will highly recommend you to family and friends xxx

Absolutely perfect! We had our wedding on Friday 8th June. I couldn’t of asked for a better day. Dan and all the staff were brilliant. Thank you for making our day so special!

Visited Sunday for the picnic bench. Slow and little service provided throughout the visit. The food was lovely, however there were a few items missing off our benches and what we were unable to eat and wanted boxed we were unable to take, due to flies landing on it as we waiting so long to find a staff member to assist!

Recommended this place to friends who came from Birmingham, Their stay was not very pleasant from start to finish, I will not recommend anyone in future...

Poor service on the ABBA tribute no cold prosseco no cold wine no gin glasses no ice buckets no ice no staff serving and when they did were very rude when asked did they have any gin glasses NO !! all half pint glasses were cloudy and not very clean staff were very young told me had to close bar as someone’s card was declined �we’ll get another member of staff to serve oh sorry there was nobody very poor for the money paid the company was brill shame couldn’t say same if the venue it wasn’t even busy about 70 peeps max shocking service
