We literally cannot thank you enough!

We had our wedding with yourselves Saturday 26th May, it was the most incredible day and mostly it’s down to you guys! From meetings with Maria, to the set up straight through to the next day. You made our day flow so beautifully. The staff are so professional, kind and cannot do enough!! Thank you guys so much... you’re all amazing!! � xxx

The football presentation evening went very well like it does every year, thank you for being great supporters of talycopa all the children enjoyed and we had great service from staff x

Thank you for making my son's football presentation such an enjoyable occasion. Manor park has supported Talycopa FC for many years, and always manage to exceed expectations, given the high numbers catered for. Bar staff provide a quick friendly service, the Buffett always hits the right spot for children and the dj is a bonus to end a wonderful day/ evening. Well Done Manor Park.

Thank you Manor Park. We had a fantastic day on Sunday for my son's first Talycoppa presentation afternoon/evening. We had lunch first which was gorgeous. Fab service. We sat in the gardens for an hour which was again pleasant. There were 800 plus people In the presentation hall and I have to say I never once had to que for a drink as the staff were very efficient with their service. My son had his buffet which he said was lovely as it was was warm. Little things. Thank you Manor Park. Five star�����

Professional all the way through the staff couldn’t do enough for us fantastic venue with beautiful grounds for photos. Babs and Maria were amazing in helping us and keeping us to date with everything

On the 14/7/2018 we got married here at manor park well what can we say it was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end the whole day was just magical � the food was out of this world every body enjoy! 5� to the chef!! The staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble the place is beautiful!! But a massive thank you to (babs) who made sure every guest was happy was always there on hand to do anything for anyone she made me and my husband at ease through the whole day everything was perfect she truly is one in a million and manor park are so lucky to have her!! On Sunday the 20th my daughter had her presentation at manor park. From beginning to end I cannot give enough praise for the venue or their staff. With around 800 guests the way the managed and dealt with the night was brilliant. Both bars were open and service was quick . The food was also if a high quality and the girls had plenty. Plenty of car parking space as well. The whole event went off without a hitch and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Massive thank you to you all making Talycopa presentation the excellent end of season event it deserved

Maria and Babs made our day so special; they really made you feel welcome, and treat you like your their family.

Had our wedding here on 25/2/2018. Had an amazing day can't thank the staff enough especially Maria for organising our special day. Every little detail was exactly what I had asked for if not more. Everything was beautiful. A big thank you also to Babs who took the time to make sure everything was as it should be and for making us feel like we were the only ones that mattered. So happy to have had our wedding at manor park would do it all over again. Thank you again to all those for making our wedding day a one to remember xx

Had a fab evening on 20th may for talycopa football presentation our boy is under 10 and loves playing football so to have a great evening is worth it our team is like a little family and was great for us all to be there together staff were amazing food was lovely and was one of the last leaving

Had Sunday lunch on 13th May.We had booked for 12.30 & were shown to our table as soon as we arrived.Shortly after sitting down we were invited to help our selves to the carvery.Have to say there was plenty of choice & everything was cooked to perfection.Plates suitably laden we sat down to eat.A couple of times staff aproached us & asked us if everything was ok & did we need anything else,.Staff were attentive & meal was nice.We were pleased to have found a place for Sunday lunch to rival The George In Upper Cwmtwrch (now closed) Thanks to all concerned I will recommend & return soon Jeff Downer

Fantastic charity night the staff were brilliant and hard working. It was especially nice to see Nic and Babs who we last saw at our wedding 14 years ago and were as helpful last night as they were back then.

Attended my sons presentation evening Sunday afternoon/evening and had a great time over 800 people attended and although the weather was boiling the air con was brilliant lovely food for the kids and a brilliant service by the bar staff to keep the que down to a minimal well done and thank u for ur hospitality �

Attended football presentation evening on Sunday and all I can say is first class venue the food served to the kids on the buffet was top class and all staff were friendly and professional would recommend manor park to everyone thank you for great night guys

Attended football presentation Sunday with my daughter. We had a lovely evening and the staff were lovely. Thank you so much for providing the venue & buffet for the children all of which was complimentary. An excellent venue and my first ever girls football presentation afternoon/evening. A very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful to experience what some children had achieved at such young ages. Well done Talycopa boys and girls and well done Manor Park for your hospitality.

Wedding - April 2018.



Good points: Nice grounds, Babs (the wedding organiser on the day) & food.



The house is wonderful, the grounds are lovely. Well maintained in the summer months, not so much in winter. Great wedding fayres to entice you in, free meal on booking. Lovely food on the wedding day, great choice and plenty of it. Babs is the Co-ordinator on the day, she's great, really goes above & beyond, working long hours to suit your wedding. Bar staff were great and worked hard all day. Dj was accommodating and played what we asked. Took requests most of the night, didn't really have a play list.



Bad points: Maria the planner, shabby & outdated inside. Everything is run down and needs a good clean.



Baring in mind we booked two years in advance, we had only a 2-3 meetings weeks before the wedding. Maria rushes you through the appointments and doesn't really listen to you, didn't take notes, so we found that we were saying the same thing a few times over. Shes a cockney and talks the talk.... "hessian is bad because environmental health can close us down because the fibres go into the food....but u can bring your own"



We were asked what we wanted for food but weren't given a brochure to choose, so didn't really know what our options were. Payments we made weren't logged, so the totals were wrong, things that we added on weren't added up correctly, so we were overcharged, little details weren't written down like colours of the flowers in the centrepiece.... things were promised to us at booking, such as table runners, then weren't provided - if we wanted them we had to pay for them, which was a different story at booking. We were rushed through the appointments, so it felt as though we weren't heard or listened to, which really showed on the day....



The day....



Table centres were wrong, on mirrors not logs, they didn't have enough of the same colour bows for all the chairs, so had to use 2 colours.... the cake stand was wrong, a horrible diamonte bling thing instead of requested log which was promised....



The day before the wedding, we dropped things off and sneaked a peek at the room... The chair covers were tatty, stained, creased and ripped.... Much to my horror! They don't allow an external company to come in as the Manor Park provide them. As nick the manager was there at the time, he said he would sort it and I noted on the day that the ripped ones were replaced, but still they looked dated and dirty. Also, different covers were used in the wedding fayre, which were nicer, so they do use different once to entice you to book.



OK, the venue is not as expensive as say Old walls and other venues, but it still costs thousands of pounds, in excess of £5000, so you expect a certain standard. You expect to be heard and listened to and to feel special. You want to know that they have these details in hand, which the Manor Park did not. It's taken me a while to make a decision on this review, as I don't like to rubbish a company, but after deliberation, I felt it was a fair and honest review of the experience we had. Would I go there for food... Yes.... Would I get married there if I had the day over again.... Sadly no.

Had Sunday lunch on 13th May.We had booked for 12.30 & were shown to our table as soon as we arrived.Shortly after sitting down we were invited to help our selves to the carvery.Have to say there was plenty of choice & everything was cooked to perfection.Plates suitably laden we sat down to eat.A couple of times staff aproached us & asked us if everything was ok & did we need anything else,.Staff were attentive & meal was nice.We were pleased to have found a place for Sunday lunch to rival The George In Upper Cwmtwrch (now closed) Thanks to all concerned I will recommend & return soon Jeff Downer

Fantastic charity night the staff were brilliant and hard working. It was especially nice to see Nic and Babs who we last saw at our wedding 14 years ago and were as helpful last night as they were back then.

Attended my sons presentation evening Sunday afternoon/evening and had a great time over 800 people attended and although the weather was boiling the air con was brilliant lovely food for the kids and a brilliant service by the bar staff to keep the que down to a minimal well done and thank u for ur hospitality �

Attended football presentation evening on Sunday and all I can say is first class venue the food served to the kids on the buffet was top class and all staff were friendly and professional would recommend manor park to everyone thank you for great night guys

Attended football presentation Sunday with my daughter. We had a lovely evening and the staff were lovely. Thank you so much for providing the venue & buffet for the children all of which was complimentary. The buffet looked lovely & as a parent would be happy to pay next year for the adults to eat. � thanks again Manor Park � xxx

An excellent venue and my first ever girls football presentation afternoon/evening. A very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful to experience what some children had achieved at such young ages. Well done Talycopa boys and girls and well done Manor Park for your hospitality.

Wedding - April 2018.



Good points: Nice grounds, Babs (the wedding organiser on the day) & food.



The house is wonderful, the grounds are lovely. Well maintained in the summer months, not so much in winter. Great wedding fayres to entice you in, free meal on booking. Lovely food on the wedding day, great choice and plenty of it. Babs is the Co-ordinator on the day, she's great, really goes above & beyond, working long hours to suit your wedding. Bar staff were great and worked hard all day. Dj was accommodating and played what we asked. Took requests most of the night, didn't really have a play list.



Bad points: Maria the planner, shabby & outdated inside. Everything is run down and needs a good clean.



Baring in mind we booked two years in advance, we had only a 2-3 meetings weeks before the wedding. Maria rushes you through the appointments and doesn't really listen to you, didn't take notes, so we found that we were saying the same thing a few times over. Shes a cockney and talks the talk.... "hessian is bad because environmental health can close us down because the fibres go into the food....but u can bring your own"



We were asked what we wanted for food but weren't given a brochure to choose, so didn't really know what our options were. Payments we made weren't logged, so the totals were wrong, things that we added on weren't added up correctly, so we were overcharged, little details weren't written down like colours of the flowers in the centrepiece.... things were promised to us at booking, such as table runners, then weren't provided - if we wanted them we had to pay for them, which was a different story at booking. We were rushed through the appointments, so it felt as though we weren't heard or listened to, which really showed on the day....



The day....



Table centres were wrong, on mirrors not logs, they didn't have enough of the same colour bows for all the chairs, so had to use 2 colours.... the cake stand was wrong, a horrible diamonte bling thing instead of requested log which was promised....



The day before the wedding, we dropped things off and sneaked a peek at the room... The chair covers were tatty, stained, creased and ripped.... Much to my horror! They don't allow an external company to come in as the Manor Park provide them. As nick the manager was there at the time, he said he would sort it and I noted on the day that the ripped ones were replaced, but still they looked dated and dirty. Also, different covers were used in the wedding fayre, which were nicer, so they do use different once to entice you to book.



OK, the venue is not as expensive as say Old walls and other venues, but it still costs thousands of pounds, in excess of £5000, so you expect a certain standard. You expect to be heard and listened to and to feel special. You want to know that they have these details in hand, which the Manor Park did not. It's taken me a while to make a decision on this review, as I don't like to rubbish a company, but after deliberation, I felt it was a fair and honest review of the experience we had. Would I go there for food... Yes.... Would I get married there if I had the day over again.... Sadly no.
