While on holiday in Wales our daughter wanted to visit a farm, by good fortune we picked on this farm to visit and how glad we were, the farm is very clean, the staff are very helpful, the animals are well looked after, also with my wife being disabled she found that she had no trouble using her mobility scooter.

User

What a brilliant place, so much to do! Staff were so lovely and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, well maintained farm. So reasonably priced!

We will definetely be back, the sheep race and petting area were great.

Soft play area really enjoyed by my girls, as was the climbing areas.

Quacking quads were such a good laugh!

Panini went down a treat at lunch time, the malteaser slice was out of this world!

Couldn't recommend more!

User

Went to the farm yesterday for the first time even though I'm local to the area. My sister and I took our granddaughter's they both loved it.

They both did the little farmers and had a great time counting and feeding the animals which are super friendly, and then getting their certificate afterwards by Arfon the rabbit.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with young children. The price is really great as well.

User

We had a lovely morning at the farm for the Easter egg hunt! Our son loved the new addition of the quad bike. It was really busy there today, but this didn't spoil our fun at all. Keep up the good work guys, and great to see it's so popular. It's a lovely addition to our little town

User

We had a great time today feeding the animals, meeting the unicorn and ‘driving’ the tractors. It’s a great little place and the admission price is very reasonably, I would highly recommend a visit. A lovely time had by all, despite the occasional downpour whilst there. I would also like to thank the very honest member of staff, who found my phone and left it at the reception for me! Thank you so much, we’ll be back. 😀

User

Travelled from Northwich yesterday to the caravan park by the farm to visit my husbands parents who were on holiday.

We decided to visit your farm & we had the best time. Food was only 50p/£1 per tub & the animals all ate straight out of it. It was around £10 for 4 adults & 1 under 2 year old to go in - absolute bargain!

My son loved brushing the ponies hair & we had a lot of interaction with all the animals which were all friendly & clearly well looked after.

Just wish it was closer to home so we could visit more!

Thank you for a lovely day out.

User

The staff are friendly and inviting. You can tell they love their animals

I love the improvements of the play area it’s a great addition.

It’s a great day out to take the kids on.

There are 2 fields with animals scattered (gated) that you may feed. Horses, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, llamas, pigs, pony.

Then a barn with chicks, rabbits (there were others in there I just can’t remember)

There is a picnic area as they don’t serve food. There is a few nibbles at hand to buy if desperate. Crisps, chocolate & drinks.

There is a TESCO further up the road which is great to stock up.

The average spend once there would be entry £4.50 and under then pots of food to feed the animals. These are 50p each. I bought my kids 4 tubs each and that was enough.

So once picnic is made a family of 4 would spend on average £20 for the day out.

They do annual passes which are £24 for adults/children, well worth it.

It is surrounded by a camping field so you can stay over there.

There isn’t as much to do there as some days out but it’s enough to pop in to have a look.

Average time spent there for our family is 2 hours max so if you are looking for a full day out maybe Welsh Mountain Zoo would be more accommodating.

We are going today again

User

Thanks for a lovely visit yesterday, we have two 15 year olds and a 1 year old so it’s not always easy to find somewhere to go that they’ll all equally enjoy, all three really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go again

Nice friendly staff and the animals seemed very content with their surroundings and well looked after which is always nice to see, keep up the good work everyone, thanks again, The Jones Family, Old Colwyn

User

My whole family love this place even if Charlotte doesn't like us lol been camping here and we go back and forth round the farm all day and most days we r here. There's always something new going on with the animals. Just came back from here again today and I'll certainly be back again and again xx

User

Manorafon farm is lovely and clean for a farm , very impressed with areas for children to wash there hands . All the staff are lovely and helpful and happy . The little snack hut was cute and nice to see them stocking Tan lan Cakes . I would arrive earlier as by 2pm on hot day it’s very busy .

User

Lovely place to take pre-schoolers, the right size for little legs, and plenty to do for a few hours. My nearly 3yo really enjoyed meeting all the animals and feeding them. A highlight was the 2pm "Cwtch Corner" (I think this is what it was called) where she got to hold a baby rabbit and guinea pig, and to stroke a tortoise. Plenty of clean hand washing facilities. Staff were really friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. Oh yes and the little dodgem cars, you put a £1 in and can drive them around with your child.

User

I visited a couple of weeks ago having not been for a while and I was totally impressed with how much it’s changed, it’s priced very reasonably and is fantastic for families, walking into the reception to pay you are greeted with a very warm welcome and smile, the option to buy food for the animals is a fantastic idea and the kids loved the chance to be able to get close to the animals.

There is now a big tee-pee which hold children’s parties and it’s a very good concept, and is a “clean area” so all hands have to be washed, fantastic! kids would really enjoy their parties there. All the different animals will come and greet you especially the goats, look out for the Pygmy goats as they are so cute. There is so much to see from chickens to donkeys to alpaca’s to pigs, there is a new place to eat called the “Greedy Goat” with lots of picnic benches. The food was really good and again very friendly service from the guys serving.. ( cakes looked and tasted great) very smart looking.

There was a play area that the kids loved, there is also a new soft play area which again the kids loved, the kids are able to get up close with some of the smaller animals and touch them, rabbits, guinea pig’s and even tortoise’s just what the children love to do and there are hand washing facilities all around the farm and at the right level for the kids. The hardest bit was getting the kids to leave!! well done Manorafon can’t wait to visit again.

User

Had a lovely couple of hours round the farm, amazing that it didn’t cost an arm a day and the girls loved it, was a real hidden gem with wonderful staff.

User

Had a great time with our Grandson at the farm yesterday. Very reasonably priced not only the entrance fee bit the animal feed. Great area for picnics and also the new food trailer is great and again reasonably priced. Lots of events through the day timetables for all to see . Soft play area available and an out door play area. No hidden extras. Also great hand washing facilities to make sure you free yourself from any germs.

User

Great little visit! If you love animals then here's a fab opportunity to get nearer to animals and feed them (pots of feed only 50p!) The animals are very friendly and clearly used to people. Perfect for all ages including 'oldies' like me who unashamedly sat in the petting corner with all the toddlers!! :D thank you Hannah for humouring me and letting me meet one of your 'skinnypig' guinea pigs! :D

User

First time visitors today after seeing friends photos. My 15 month old son loved it and excitedly pointed at the different animals. He liked the soft play. Next time we’ll bring a picnic as we don’t realise you were allowed.

User

Absolutely love this place, took my boys and my nephew yesterday and they had a ball! So much for the kids to do, loved holding and feeding the animals. Staff ore lovely and rely friendly! And most of all affordable most places cost an arm and a leg and all the extras when your there! Not the case here at all keep up the amazing work guys probably be back next week! Xxx

User

A wonderful day out with my little girl aged 5. The place is just the right size with a vast amount to do for little ones. The staff were lovely and Hannah who handle the animals had genuine love for each and every animal she handled. It was lovely to see such young farm hands act so compassionately. The animals were well cared for and the place was lovely and very reasonably priced. I’d definitely recommend this venue for a garanteed fun day out for the family. Brilliant hidden gem x

User

When visiting your farm today, my daughter approached the pony field to have a look, she was stood watching them & made no attempt to feed or touch them when a pony bit down on her shoulder- I had to pull my daughter away with a lot of strength because the pony had clamped onto her shoulder and wouldn't let go! This resulting in my daughter having to go to hospital to be checked for any internal damage to her shoulder and she has been left with a very nasty bruise

We did raise this concern with your staff & she was looked at by your first aid person who recommended not to take her to the hospital because it's just a graze- which clearly you can see on the photo it is not! And was given an ice-lolly to make things better!

Considering the farm is advertised to be a child friendly place where the children can SAFELY pet/feed the animals - I really don't think this is the case!

There is no correct signs by the pony enclosure stating not to pet/feed the pony due to it being dangerous and liking to bite!

My daughter has been a regular visitor to the farm but after todays ordeal she is terrified to ever come back again!

I will be making sure people are aware of what has happened today to make sure that their children are safe when visiting your farm
