Manorhaus Llangollen

We stayed the 3rd night of our 3 night break at the Manorhaus and had a fabulous stay. Welcomed by Alan the manager who was very friendly and could not do enough for you. The suite room was lovely great view out across Llangollen to the hills, big bath in the bedroom and TV in lounge and bedroom. You get a docking station and everything you'd expect in a boutique. Breakfast was superb and staff very helpful. The hotel is set back off the main road with a car park 20 metres up the road which is ideal. We would definitely stay again

Had a horrible experience at Manorhaus Llangollen. Rude and abrupt welcome and awful customer service. Breakfast finished at 9.30am so arrived downstairs at 9am to be ignored for 10 minutes. Was then told I would not be served breakfast as "if we served everyone who came down at 9am we'd be here till lunchtime". Ended up going out for breakfast despite having paid for one. Was then awaiting a late taxi which led us to miss our train, with the owner watching and offering no assistance in terms of alternative numbers to try. Rooms were nice but getting two stars due to horrible customer service. Would not stay here again.

Fantastic stay. Great place for a short break. Very modern ,chic, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast . Would highly recommend to anyone. Staff really helpful and friendly even with a horrible cold , couldn't do enough. Will take swimwear next time and use the hot tub .

A modern design in an old building - clever, without being tacky. Great breakfast and a friendly welcome. Would stay again.

Nice hotel, good food and comfy beds but bathroom was very small and needing some maintenance.
