Good shop with the usual items. Not huge but nicely laid out and a good food hall.

Out of stock of dairy free coconut and chocolate liqueur for at least 3 weeks which is a shame. Not as Vegan friendly as they could be compared to Morrisons and Tesco.

This place is amazing! They sell jumpers and pants and all sorts. Grand work Spencer and Marks. With this type of offering, I'm sure you could consider opening a 2nd store somewhere.

Excellent store with an excellent food department. Well worth a visit. Lovely coffee shop as well.

Had a £3.50 meal deal of chicken and bacon brown bread sandwich, hand cooked Crisps and a bottle of ginger beer, it was excellent, you couldn't get any more filling in the sandwich. Great value for money

It's an M&S, quite a big one with a good hall and decent sized cafe too. Parking can be a problem that really needs sorting out. If you can find a space and you need, or just want to visit, an M&S then this is a good one.

Absolutely filthy store...toilets dirty, grubby grime down the side of all the food counters, bits of grubby stuff all over the floor of the clothes hall and the food hall stinks of bad food, it is appalling. A disgrace to the Marks brand. This filth is clearly visible...you don't need to go looking for it.

If you have long legs you'll rarely find trousers to fit in this M&S. Food dept very good as are the staff.

Cafe staff outstanding. Very busy when we visited but they help people find seats and we're cleaning tables to make space as soon as some one vacated there table. Also a shop.

A nice store with helpful staff and a great product range. Maybe a tiny bit more expensive than the other stores of a similar size in town but quality products and not as much more as people think. Great alcohol selection

Big shop and friendly staff

Terrible customer service on xmas eve! There appeared to be a queue to get items reduced by a young man and girl on the desserts Isle. I queue like everyone else and can hear the guy saying I cant reduce it unless its on the shelf. However it appears people put it on the shelf and he reduces it and you then take it away. However by the time I get to the front it appears his common sense and customer service skills have dissapeared and he says i can reduce it but I am putting it on the shelf where it came from. I say ok thats fine and leave the items. However what really dissapointed me was his colleagued who reduced an item for an elderly lady behind me and then purposly put it on a shelf at the opposite end so she couldnt get it and it went to someone else. Its very hard to explain myself on here but i assure you this was quite rude and unfair to a lady in atleast her 70's. I went up to the young girl and I said that was really unfair and she said if you have a complaint speak to the manager. So I decided to go an speak to him but he was already busy with another customer compaining about a similar issue. He said the staff has a legal requirement to check all the shelves and sign them off for out of stock goods. This is a rediculous excuse and if your going to use this as your reasoning I hope following the closure of the store on one of the busiest days of the year every shelf is checked again because there is no way you could watch what every customer is putting back, dates getting mixed etc. Why on earth cant staff take a trolly load of stock in the crate out the back, reduce it there and return it to the shelves? This would be a much better way of doing it. Also why were they waiting to sooo late in the day to reduce items. There was so much un reduced and they were announcing the store was going to close in ten minutes. It was mayhem. Finally I resent the young girl talking to a member of the public who was 'clearly on her side' saying its like a bunch a vultures in here'. She might have been a new member of staff (the manager said) but this was just rude and not M&S standards of service. Customer service levels are usually high in M&S but this was clearly lacking on one of the busiest and supposedly happiest days of the year. Where was the christmas spirit? The folks in the queue were jolly and chatting to eachother. The only problem was the miserable staff who kept saying 'were only doing our job'. As for the poor elderly lady who the young girl was an absolute disgrace to, well I did offer her my dessert but she refused, hopefully never to return to this store.

I have ever had a negative feeling from marks yes the parking can be problematic but it's not their fault all out of town services are the same marika price
